Wherethefoxhat? Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 If there's ever an argument that teams should stick with their managers until they are absolutely sure they need changing its this morning. Megson has been linked with Wolves!!! McCarthy out, Megson in? The world of football is crackers! Even Terry Connor out.....Megson in ......would worry me if i was a Wolves fan !!!!
Carter The Boss Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Good post. It's a weird one as last time NP led us in the Champ we tended to struggle a bit against the top sides but had the knack of over-powering and often thrashing teams at the lower end of the table. Now it's the other way round! I think once Nige gets the team completely round to his way of thinking (ie digging in and slugging it out when needs be and treating every game with equal importance) we will start to dominate the weaker teams in the division too whilst having enough to defeat the best sides. I think a lot of our woes have been due to poor attitude, I really believe that some of the guys we've bought just don't fancy it against the some of the 'scrappier' sides & NP is slowly but surely addressing that. Exactly. Nige needs the summer and pre-season under his belt and I think we'll be looking at a strong team to adapt their play depending on the opposition. We know the team can play attractive passing attacking football, as soon as they can handle themselves in a ruck we will be fine. Roll on next season!
Corky Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 Megson is the new Dowie/Monkeyheed. I love Peytar Reid.

martin7 Posted 23 March 2012 Author Posted 23 March 2012 i still believe in pearson.leicester til I die.
Happy Fox Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 I am reserving judgement till the summer, if he f**ks of Beckford out the club and the likes of Ritchie Wellens and Gallagher remain, then NP can truly be gotten rid off.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 This thread should not exist. Anyone contemplating reasons for getting rid of NP need to take a serious look at themselves. That is all. lol Tell you what. Take a serious look at your own self.
80footgiraffe Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 IF we changed managers, which I don't think we'll do, even though our consistency is quite frustrating, I'd quite like to see McCarthy come in tbh. I have to admit, I don't like Pearson as a person, he seems closed, blunt and unlikeable. It doesn't send a very positive message to other about our club.
martin7 Posted 28 March 2012 Author Posted 28 March 2012 I would still keep him. bring on peterbrough :scarf:
