Legend_in_blue Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Yes I can see where you are coming from. Leicester fans talking about Leicester on a Leicester forum. Perhaps you think that it is beyond the realms of inprobability that Pearson may fail or be prematuely sacked? After all it hasn't happened in the recent history of the club... Oh wait. I sense a contradiction of terms in what is being said here. We can all be sure that the probability of success or failure on NPs part can be measured on a scale - 0 to 1. This is how probability is measured. It's called the probability scale. It starts at impossible and goes all the way up to certain.
kingfox Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 They say never go back, and that's becoming the case here. What has he done so far? Apart from a very good Fa Cup run nothing much. Im beginning to think we shouldn't of appointed him back in the first place. The only manager who will get us promoted will be someone like Malky Mackay.
Foxhateram Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Why is everyone saying NP is clearing up Sven's mess, it is the players faults at the end of the day they have to be accountable for this shitty season, the mentality of a some of them coupled with ability isn't good enough and we need to get rid of a large chunk. Because Sven brought in a load of overpaid pre-madonna's. Upset the camp by giving the new signings big contracts, then realised he had forked up and offered players like King etc higher wages to compensate, He even gave Oakley a pay rise ffs, he hasn't even featured for us this season! This all led to bad squad morale, adding to this he constantly insisted on chopping and changing effectively destroying players morale . He had lost the changing room, there was a clear division in the team. It was time for him to go. Since Pearson has arrived we have atleast looked like a team. Bad result agreed last night, but at least we played as a team and battled right up till the end! We got caught pushing for the winner. These things happen. Under Sven we lost our way, he had no plan B and the squad looked like it couldn't be arsed. He left a mess which Pearson has done a god job to clear up, Sven left a squad, Pearson has made a TEAM. enough said!

I honestly don't think that happened tbh it was Mandy and Hoos who initiated these clauses in these player's contracts not Sven imo, I cannot imagine Sven offering Wellens and Oakley a new contract or maybe he did.
paddy Agyemang Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Really??? Why are you even questioning Pearson? He is quality and it's not his fault the players ain't winning the games, its the players. Pearson will sort them out in the summer
seenitall Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Nige is now looking at a follow up season, I am sure he will buy new players (despite claiming that he builds teams) . I expect he will be fired in late October, a million quid richer than when he came here. That's our Leicester

ibbosuk Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 The Thais won't tolerate failures. Take a look at the Championship table under Pearson, it does not lie, we have gone backwards under Pearson. I for one would like to see Billy Davies given a shot next season.

seenitall Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Wrong again goofboy. You are too angry about Sven for some reason, I bet you were annoyed when he saved us from relegation last year and had a crack at the play offs after recovering from 5 points in 9 games(or are you so dim you, have forgotten that?). Nige has had 13 games, bought new players andvstill gets duffed up by the BOTTOM TEAM. Snap out of it

Face it, you're an idiot who can't back up your nonsense with anything worthwhile
seenitall Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Younsaid that in the other post and I did it. Who is the idiot here fella. Take the blinkers off, it aint so bad.
Corky Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 The only manager who will get us promoted will be someone like Malky Mackay. Based on what?

Snap out of it You come on here, state an opinion and don't back it up, well actually you're way of backing it up is a half-hearted attempt at an insult. If we're going to say Sven saved us from relegation last year then NP has done this year and in fact has saved us from an embarrassing year in the PL. Just get behind the team and the manager next year instead of coming on here to moan without anything to back up your awful points.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Pearson built a side from League 1 to a few kicks away from the play off final in 2 seasons. On far lesser wage and transfer budget, give him a full year next year and i think he will achieve promotion with more coin to spend.
mcbfox Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 I think the answer to this question is always who else would we get? To be honest there's not many alternatives and for me in coming back Pearson obviously thinks we have the right things in place to succeed, else he would have stayed at hull.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 We are crying out for some stability, a player like Andy King has probably played under 15 managers so far and he is about 24.

Nearly succeeding is the same as failing, shame we didn't go up then though - watching fryatt and howard etval in the Premier would have been amazing
inckley fox Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 Nearly succeeding is the same as failing, shame we didn't go up then though - watching fryatt and howard etval in the Premier would have been amazing Okay, so that makes every season we've been in the Premiership but failed to win it / qualify for anything (ie all four years under O'Neill) a straightforward failure. Yet Pearson did succeed at getting us out of League One and also in keeping us there (something which his immediate successor could easily have failed at, and his predecessor did fail at) but nearly succeeded/failed at getting us back-to-back promotions. Therefore he is a failure. Even in this magical land of black-white and binary you've conjured, that still doesn't make sense. And a similar analysis of Sven's reign - and, indeed, the past decade of his career - would be far less favourable. Truth is, under Pearson we're in the same position in the league averaging exactly the same points-per-game as Sven. He may have failed at getting established failures to improve (in little more than three months), but he's succeeded in ensuring that they don't go the same way as our big money play-off certs in 07-08. Look at the facts and it points towards largely mis-spent money last summer and a set of players who aren't yet good enough regardless of who the manager is.
Libertine Dream Posted 7 March 2012 Posted 7 March 2012 You love Nige don't you? I don't love him, I have some issues with his tactics and management but I had far more with Sven's. NP is sorting Sven's mess out and that needs time, if we're in the same position next year I may have to concede Im wrong, but likewise if we go up I hope you don't celebrate unless you admit you're wrong. People call NP for having favourites but Sven played Gally and Wellens aswell, and also who was it who gave Howard and Oakley new on year contracts and massively raised Gally, Wellens and Kings wages? sven! A little priof he hadn't really got a clue and pretended he was playing FM.
