BoneDog Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 Past = Terence Mckenna Present = Graham Hancock I've heard of Hancock and thought you might like this video. I think it's a similar subject matter if I'm thinking of the right guy. This video is talking about (if it's the right one, not seen it for a while) an ancient civilization that was way more advanced, and much older than is generally believed and that precision engineering tools were used to build and decorate some pyramids. John A West also investigates this stuff in some essays he wrote for a book called Forbidden History. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GZi_vlraAE It's a great video once it get's cracking.
Smudge Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 I just believe in me Some great folks and me And that's reality Heroes, are people who have changed my life, John H, who lives in Oadby, now in his late 70's and still the funniest man I have ever met. He absolutely changed my life in the way I behaved socially, told a joke or interacted wth my peers. The big brother I never had.
Guesty Posted 16 March 2012 Posted 16 March 2012 One that stands out for me and hasn't been mentioned was a Canadian teenager called Terry Fox. He had to have his leg amputated at the knee due to cancer. Then tried to run across Canada raising money and awareness. This was before the days of good prosthetics. Unfortunatly over half way through they found that the cancer had returned; this time in his lungs. He died not long after but over £300 million has been raised worldwide in his memory. I'd never really heard about him till I saw an ESPN documentary.

Zingari Posted 19 March 2012 Posted 19 March 2012 Brian Haw, hero? legend? I’m not sure, but to me there was something heroic about him! Maybe he was one of the last of his kind , but hopefully not.
