Webbo Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 For all his many faults my hero will always be my late father.
Zingari Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 Not sure if “heroes” is the right word for them in the traditional sense , but I’ve got a massive admiration for people like Korey Rowe , Dylan Avery , David Ray Griffin, Jim Marrs , Robert Groden, Webster Tarpley ,Alex Jones, James Fetzer, John Pilger and all the other truth seekers that devote their lives to what they believe and usually suffer quite badly for daring to question authority . So in a way , they are “heroes” to me , but accept they may not appear heroic , but I believe heroism can take many forms

Daggers Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 I don't have heroes, everyone is fallible. There are people I respect and hold in high regard, and most of them I'm delighted to call friends.
Phube Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 I don't really have any heroes. Depends on what you define as a Hero really?

Saxondale Posted 13 March 2012 Posted 13 March 2012 I don't have heroes as such because everybody has their faults, but, if I had to choose: Sir Frank Whittle (my great aunt's brother) Howard Hughes Sir Ranulph Fiennes And, to an extent, Bill Gates. I know this will be controversial because he is portrayed as a greedy, ruthless geek, but he has set out to give 95% of his wealth to charitable causes. You can't really argue with that.
