Stevie Synex Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 Changing a manager who hasn't had the summer to sign his own players who he can make a balanced team out of & just as importantly coach the players in his teamwork mentality. We have some deluded arseholes masquerading as fans. This collection of individuals needs breaking up, don't care who goes except would like to keep Kasper, anyone else (over 22ish) is culpable in under-achievement & not being able to play as a team and... can do one. Agree with this
Cropwellfox Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 We are unfortunately stuck with the group of players thanks to the massive long-term contracts we have given many of them.therefore is Pearson the guy to set them up and get the best out of them? I'm starting to think not. It's all very well getting angry, but I'm not sure a number of the current players will respond to this. There's no easy fix to this shambles, and I'm not confident this summer will see a huge change in either playing staff, management or mood at the club.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 It would depend on who was available at the end of the season. Lee Clark, for one, if he is still available.
SMX11 Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 The players are the actual problem, Sven never took into account the character of some of the players he recruited.
JonnyBoy Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 Really dont want NP to get the sack, but if he did then i would like to see Warnock
deep blue Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 The players are the actual problem, Sven never took into account the character of some of the players he recruited. Character seems to be part of the problem; as someone else pointed out earlier, we haven't come from behind this season When Pearson buys a player, this is one of his criteria. Sure, some of our current squad were signed by him, but time has moved on (e.g. Wellens doesn't seem to have the same energy) and those players have suffered from being messed about by Sven/Sousa (played out of position or not played at all, uneven squad wages etc). No-one should forget that in his 2 seasons with us NFP reshaped a failing team to take us out of Div1 at a canter, and followed that by coming within a whisker of getting us into the Prem. And had he been able to stay on, and given a fair transfer kitty, there were plenty of players around who could have been key improvements to the squad (several strikers such as Lambert, strong midfielders etc). He's a top manager and will turn it around but does need a summer transfer window and also to be able to get rid of the problem players.

Stevie Synex Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 To be fair he had us playing rather well.. Then he fooked off! Fat, greedy bastard! His career took a nosedive at that very point.. Didn't seem fair at the time though did it...... what was it he said "there are only two football clubs in the land I would leave Leicester City for, one is Manchester United and the other is ........ Wolverhampton Wanderers - what a tool.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 It came off the back of Little joining Villa didn't it? And he nosedived with them too if memory serves me rightly? Little was a Legend for me though mate.
flowwolf Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 Sacked by Wolves whilst we went onto promotion. I can still remember singing 'cheer up Mark McGhee' after Claggers shinner as though it were yesterday. Happy days... Don't remember singing " cheer up" Col. We all sang " **** off Mark McGhee, oh what can it be ect.He must be the only manager in football history to have half of Wembley singing to him to personally " **** off " I know one of my mates actually wrote to the wembley officials before the Palace match and told them that the monkeys tune was a favourite of the Leicester fans and could they play it on the day. Sure enough it came on and every man jack sang it at the top of our voices, absolute priceless memory. Now as for replacing Pearson it's simple we just wait till Sunderland give MON the O.B.E ( out by Easter )or the D.C.M ( don't come Monday )then make him an offer he can't refuse ( perhaps a dead Horses head in his bed ) The Holy one returns and ever one is happy.
PegguyArphexad Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 Forums are intensely frustrating. In theory they are fantastic as they provide an accessible-by-all platform in which views can be exchanged and reasoned debate can be undertaken. However, in reality no-one's view is ever changed by debate. Instead it is simply many people putting forward their own viewpoint and then without consideration of another persons view they simply retort by making their viewpoint again. So in tradition with how forums work here is my, overly simplistic and aggressive, viewpoint: Anyone who thinks Pearson should be given his marching orders is an idiot. Disagree? Well I will just say it again. Although next time I might include some naughty words and you might be more inclined to take on my viewpoint.... or not.

Your simply putting forward your own view point without any consideration for anyone else's point of view, So whats the point in that ?
dannythefox Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 Pearson's a good manager just lets wait and see what he brings in next season.
