I do wonder how true this is for professionals, especially at this level and that its more a case of mental fatigue and managers getting a bit too preoccupied by fixture build up etc. Having said that,this game has been played at a fairly frenetic pace for a European game. It would have been even better if the second leg had been in Naples.

I'd be surprised if they bring out their strongest team against us on Sunday because they have man city as their next league match and champions league football is essential for them next season meaning they need to finish 4th and their currently in 5th so cup isn't the priority for them!

They do have a good squad. I just really don't want Lampard to play. He ALWAYS turns it on against us.
