Guest MattP Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 I read pretty much all the papers (excluding the rags) and how the Times doesnt win it I have no idea, the best read by an absolute country mile.
ramadaone Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 Good article in there yesterday about Stuart Broad and Egerton Park CC ( Melton Mowbray ) for you cricket lovers
Head Honcho Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 I read pretty much all the papers (excluding the rags) and how the Times doesnt win it I have no idea, the best read by an absolute country mile. I agree. No other paper comes close. I have started reading The I, which is ok if you don't have much time.
HEGGSY Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 I agree. No other paper comes close. I have started reading The I, which is ok if you don't have much time. The I is a great paper in my opinion, its 20p and isn't full of celebrity gossip that no one cares about. Happy Days
Guest MattP Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 I agree. No other paper comes close. I have started reading The I, which is ok if you don't have much time. I pick it up if I'm on the tube or something, fantastic value for money at 20p.
leicsmac Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 Evidently someone put something in the water/alcoholic beverages belonging to the judges here. The Daily Heil is just about good enough for toilet paper. As some people have mentioned...Times or I for me. Full-length Indy is a decent read too.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 It's voted for by journalists and newspaper executives. It's a bit like a bunch of war criminals voting for 'best war criminal'
NeilyBoy Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 In defence of the mail, at least they let us use their website for free. It may be a chore to sieve through all the "omg! [bimbo of the day] has fatty deposits on her legs and stomach almost like a real person!" articles, but at least they're making it publicly available. That's the best I could come up with as a defence mind.
BoneDog Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 I've started buying The Times most days. On occasions buy The Independent or Guardian, depending on the headline on the front.
