flowwolf Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 I thought his kicking was as usual abysmal. When he first came I thought, well he is young and with good coaching will remedy that but he hasn't . Compared to what we had before he came he looks good but he will never make a Premiership keeper he is just not good enough.
Happy Fox Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Is it not a coincidence to suggest that Stowell has f**ked this lad up?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Utd come in for him, put another Kasper between the sticks. He's no worse than de Gea
MGLCFC Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 I can live with poor kicking, although I prefer to see it as adventurous that doesn't always come off - he is a good keeper, great shop stopper, saves his fair share of penalties and talks to his defence - he's the best we've had for a long time.

You were not at the game today I presume then ? the ball was in front of him , he should have called it was his ball. He did not and Pelts had to boot it out of touch. He then had then gall to try to bollock pelts , it was laughable considering the shit he gives anyone else for making a mistake.

I think, considering the season that he's had, he has the right to expect similarly high standards from everyone else. He has been quality for the large part in a season where those around him have been consistently inconsistent. Yes his kicking has not been great of late but in general it is far better than any keeper we've had for years. A lot of his mistakes with his kicking come from trying to play balls that other keepers wouldn't have the confidence to attempt because they're not as good at kicking. How many penalties has he saved this year? Along with countless brilliant saves he has made I think this makes him immune from such fickle criticism. Which other keeper in this league would you rather have?! I can't think of one. He is class and will not doubt play in the Premiership very soon.

He certainly has the potential to be a premiership keeper, Keepers all tend to be different in terms of reaching that potential, in times I'd certainly expect his distribution to improve.
flowwolf Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Time will tell but if he really had Prem potential do you think he would be with us ? Big fish in a little pond springs to mind. I still think he is the best we have had for many a year but that does not mean much does it.

Why are you talking about him being disruptive??? He's one of the key members of the squad that seems to love playing for Leicester!!! I'd also say that he's gong to be a top four premiership keeper given time ... Maybe because he's so good you forget how young he is for a first team keeper at this level.
flowwolf Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 How do you know he didnt call for it? I was near enough to hear and he did not shout anything just panicked and when pelts took the decision out of his hands ( literally ) with a boot out of play he had the nerve to try to blame pets. Pelts just looked at him as if to say , " Cheeky bastard " as I have said considering the sanctimonious shit he deals out at anyone else's mistakes he made him self look a twat.

5waller5 Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 I think he has got his words mixed up it should be distribution instead of disruption OOoops .... I did wonder how he'd suddenly become disruptive!!!!!! Hang on .... his distribution is also excellent .... not sure how that's criticised either!!!!
FoxyPV Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Has kept us in numerous games and although he has faults, he has saved us on enough occassions to be forgiven when he does fvck up.

class 1 Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 wtf !!!!!!!! player of the season . fact ! get of his back

You know De Gea was Atletico's No. 1 and 19? And is the English champions' No. 1 at 21. And some people would genuinely prefer Schmeichel (I really like him btw, I think he's going to be a cracking signing for us if we can hang onto him. It's just that the level of delusion from some people is hilarious.)
flowwolf Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 wtf !!!!!!!! player of the season . fact ! get of his back Did not know we had had a vote on that, I must have missed it ?
5waller5 Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 His distribution is excellent ? you little wind up merchant you. you nearly had me   No, i think it is .... it's not been as good for the last month or so .... but i think he's lost a bit of confidence in that time .... but before that it was as good as you could expect. Admittedly it hasn't been as great recently, but maybe our expectations have got higher? Maybe I'm as delusional about Kasper as some people are .... oh never mind ... don't want to get into that one again!!!! I really rate Kasper anyway and named my new cat after him!!!
5waller5 Posted 7 April 2012 Posted 7 April 2012 Did not know we had had a vote on that, I must have missed it ? Out of interest who would yours be if it wasn't KS?? Think mine would be him.
