Players with potential

If the board are willing to gamble on players like mills for 5m, why not gamble on players who are more likely to cut it in the PREMIERSHIP, whats the point in signing championship players who wont get a game IF we get promoted.....

Yaya Sanogo, i actually learnt about this chap on football manager! but ive been watching his games and watching how he plays, hes very tall, very FAST! - Wins headers, his skill on the ball is brilliant, first touch is okay, and can score an overhead volley if needed (Could stevie?)

He scored 18 in 18 for the under 17s in france, before making a jump into the first team Auxerre and the end of last season.

Striker - Bony Wilfried, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilfried_Bony) This striker would need a work permit, but i couldnt see why he would not get one, I was told about this player by a friend of mine that supports Sparta Prague who told me they had a young player who was banging them in left right and centre, i decided to keep a look out, Hes Fast, Strong, wins the ball, Works like dickov, and i think would be available for around 8m (for any newly promoted team its not a shaving really from the prize money?)

Jose Baxter, widely touted as being a better prospect than Rooney, the everton striker has gone off the boil abit after being messed around be everton, being called up to train with the first team, then being sent back to the reserves, being called to train in switzerland, then being sent on loan. Despite this he still looks a banker for me, and a few million splashed on him could proove a good investment.

Henri Saivet - Class player, would do a job for us, one that has been underated by Bordeaux and would probably be affordable, He has been compared to striker Thierry Henry

ANY Rangers defenders would do a job, and they still face redundancy...

Im not saying we have a chance to sign All of these players, but why do we get linked with rubbish players when we can clearly see the up and coming stars!

a lot of talent in france. more teams will start looking there due to newcastles recent transfer success, i doubt leicester will though.

Don't forget that Nige seems to have a preference in signing younger, up and coming, domestic players who, I believe, he feels he can mould into 'his own'.

Hence Waggy, Drinky, Marshall, Hobbs, Morrison etc etc...

Although the players you cited above may be decent players, they don't fit into Pearsons 'typical' signing do they?

I doubt he will change his policy on this. It's served him well so far. And, as I suggested in a different thread, he goes as much for attitude as for sheer talent.

I agree and I said this at the start of the season, but most people seemed to be lavishing our board spending too much money on already established players. Growing / finding your own is what makes money and success in the football business.

Living in France I'd like to say that the English overstate the quality of the football. There is some great talent but the standard of the game is lower than that in England.

I completely agree its more of an achievement, but i wouldnt mind taking an 18 year old and making his name into a premiership player? :)

The delusion continues

Premiership lol fvcking lol

We need to /build/ a team like Swansea, Norwich, Southampton & Reading... Buying supposed players who can cut it in the Premiership is stupid a) We did that, it didn't work b) why would players who can cut it in Prem come to a midtable Championship outfit... For the money? what like Fernandes, Johnson, Ball, Mills & co who didn't realise you actually need effort & to perform as a team to get anywhere in this division, the toughest second flight in the world?

No thanks, I'd sooner we build, build & build with young players like Marshall & Drinky & similar along with a couple of older heads who'll grow together & become better than the sum of their parts.

Teamwork is the only thing that will get you in the Prem & its the only thing which will keep you there

I can't help but think that NP will go for some loans from top 4 prem clubs, Man U, Arsenal have some decent youngsters that are well worth a loan and usually their mentality and drive is coached into them so they wouldn't have a problem here.

We did it your way in the past and ended up mid table before falling out of the second division of football for the first time in our history.

We need prem quality players who are willing to work their butts off and not stand around like Prima Donnas.

Think Schlupps got more potential than any of those guys tbh

I agree to an extent from what we have seen of him he looks a hell of a player, However....

I feel bony wilfried looks better IMO

Ive always loved him since i heard about him, Ive found a few youtube Videos on a few of these players (I know that they dont represent the players overall play, but it shows you what they are capable of)

Yaya Sanogo

Bony Wilfried - I am desperate for leicester to sign this player, If we dont someone will... (By the way he speaks english)

The last link is the latest video at his current team Vitesse

Yeah but it all hypothetical reality is we are not going to splash money like Sven did, NP will go for players in the lower leagues.

And just to rub salt in your wounds... "players like Marshall and drinky" They were homegrown were they? as far as i knew we bought them in and now play to get them into our squad...

Brilliant. Let's sign all these players cause they're good on footy manager. I just...I....Ergh.

When did i state that, did i not state that i saw 1 player on football manager and started watching him, did i not also state that i have been watching these players online in streamed matches?

I have been watching them all for a while now.

Dont try to be funny, it doesnt suit you...

You've been watching French Second Divison matches on live streams? And where have you managed to watch Tranmere regularly?

Not buying it.

auxerre are in Ligue 1... you can watch every ligue 1 game online....

What a waste of typing a post.

We will not get any single one of them, Sanago signed for Man Utd on my football manager. Plus Jose Baxter ain't all that either, and yes I follow Everton aswell as Leicester, he has talent but can't cut it in the first team, or with the youngsters Everton have had to try out in recent years, he would be on the bench every week.

Also seems Henri Saivet comparison to Henry was stolen by you from wikipedia.

Which comes to my conclusion, why ain't you in school?

He's played 7 games for them.

Besides, I was referring to Saivet and Baxter.
