Zingari Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 Is it too late for me to wish Finners a very happy birthday ?
sphericalfox Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 NO! I actually don't eat cake. Not of any type. Makes things awkward on birthdays and my own wedding etc. I'd much prefer a bag of chips.

I am Rod Hull Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 . Pressing "quote" instead of "edit" is a real bummer...
sphericalfox Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 Well, ok, but you could always take some and then donate it to me. I would offer you my virtual slice, if there was any of the adopted cake left. I'm all about sharing.
Finnegan Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 Is it too late for me to wish Finners a very happy birthday ? Not at all, Zingo. Thank you kindly.
dave the caveman Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 Did you get anything nice for your birthday? If so I assume you've already sold it and given the proceeds to really deserving poor people who wouldn't need it if it wasn't for the big bad evil people preventing them from getting a job?

StanSP Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 Happy birthday Finnegan. Is Finnegan part of your real name?
Saxondale Posted 1 May 2012 Posted 1 May 2012 I do love a bit of Vimto. My boss gave me a bottle of JD, we'll have to put the two together, that strikes me as an interesting mix. Reminds me of a jumbo-sized cocktail I made in my Biarritz days using the favoured drink + favoured spirit principle, namely Calvados and lemon iced tea. In the words of Professor Denzil Dexter of the University of Southern California, 'the results were disappointing'. Happy birthday mate.
Daggers Posted 2 May 2012 Author Posted 2 May 2012 And he's the equivalent of a 6yr-old girl with a pack of finger paints.
Finnegan Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Since it's your birthday, I'll give you a reach around You're too good to me. Happy birthday Finnegan. Is Finnegan part of your real name? No. There's a lightly fruity quality to JD that I think might nicely compliment a splash of Vimto, however, I shall certainly experiment for the sakes of Pf. Dexter. Also, mixers using lemon iced tea was a good idea, it's got potential, I hope you didn't stop there! ... Pimm's, maybe?

Dexter. Also, mixers using lemon iced tea was a good idea, it's got potential, I hope you didn't stop there! ... Pimm's, maybe? I found that the mellow sweetness of the tea washed out the sharpness of the spirit and I was left with a sort of alcoholic, neutral tasting dishwater-like concoction. I like the Pimm's idea, mind. That could definitely work. I'm with you on the fruity qualities of JD - have fun experimenting!
