The Year Of The Fox Posted 9 June 2012 Posted 9 June 2012 He's trained this morning so all's as well as can be
Jordan Posted 10 June 2012 Posted 10 June 2012 Shame. This speaks to Jermain Defoe's character, though. His father was never there for him, but he has time to interrupt time committed to the England squad for Euro 2012 come back home, pay his respects, and consider all forgiven. England are really going to need Defoe, even if his job is to come off the bench late. When he is at his best, he can create chances for himself out of nothing. As difficult as this must be, I think Defoe would want to use his father as inspiration.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 June 2012 Posted 10 June 2012 Come on Defoe bring the cup home, your dad will be watching you over all the time!
Jimothy Posted 10 June 2012 Posted 10 June 2012 Better than Carroll ffs. Totally different players to be fair. I bet Defoe couldn't win a towering header, whilst Carroll couldn't sprint past a defender.
