1964FOX Posted 29 July 2012 Posted 29 July 2012 And elected as the new prime minister after the elections of 2020 is....... Katie Price
Raw Dykes Posted 29 July 2012 Posted 29 July 2012 If you enjoyed Yes, Minister, I think you'd like The Thick Of It, as well.
Rincewind Posted 29 July 2012 Posted 29 July 2012 Can't remember seeing too many of those. There ought to be something similar now. There is a lot of material that could be parodied from all political parties, banks, local governments, papers for a start. HIGNFY does a good job at satirising it but there is potential to go where even that program can't. As long as real names are not used.
Rocket-Ron Posted 29 July 2012 Posted 29 July 2012 Not sure if this should be on the right or left http://botherer.org/...racism-is-fine/
MooseBreath Posted 29 July 2012 Posted 29 July 2012 It should be in the bin. "Outrageously racist"? There is literally nothing racist about that whatsoever.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 29 July 2012 Posted 29 July 2012 Billy Bragg â€@billybragg Punk, NHS, Mary Poppins, 'Jerusalem' good stuff so far. All we now is the burning in effigy of a giant Margaret Thatcher #openingceremony Billy Bragg is an utter cuunt.
Captain... Posted 29 July 2012 Posted 29 July 2012 I saw Billy Bragg down in London yesterday, he was doing a big busk, lots of people brought along guitars and other instruments, sat around on the steps on the South Bank of the Thames, he was on stage holding up the chords he was playing. Probably not the right thread for that.

Probably not the right thread for that. Was he holding up the wrong chords? That's the kind of thing a cvnt would do.
FoxyPV Posted 29 July 2012 Posted 29 July 2012 It's poor people's fault for being poor. I don't like people who aren't from around here. The state suffocates enterprise.
flowwolf Posted 29 July 2012 Posted 29 July 2012 Never talk politics or religion on this site it only ends in tears. mind you it makes you wonder where all those people who voted Thatcher in for three terms of office have gone to ?

Thatchers anonymous............. My name is Tarquin and I voted for Margaret.
Jon the Hat Posted 30 July 2012 Posted 30 July 2012 Thatchers anonymous............. My name is Tarquin and I voted for Margaret. Deliberately missing the point?
Finnegan Posted 30 July 2012 Posted 30 July 2012 I love Billy Bragg. Everybody should. He's very welcoming of people who don't like his politics, he's the first to point out he writes a lot of simple love songs and they're free to come in and enjoy them. Top bloke. Oh and I also love The Thick of It and Yes, Minister.
1964FOX Posted 30 July 2012 Posted 30 July 2012 Deliberately missing the point? yes, poor attempt at a cheap joke.
Guest MattP Posted 31 July 2012 Posted 31 July 2012 Is Billy Bragg still alive? Wow. Last time I saw him was on the poltiics show about 3 years ago and the representatives of all 3 parties were laughing at him telling him it's about time he came out of 1981 and stopped thinking he was still fighting Thatcher. Good to see from his tweet he took the advice.
