If you've attended them all you get the equivalent of a season ticket price. If you've attended none you pay full price. Everyone else pays something in the middle. Could add in an incentive to go to crap games by making the discount earned by seeing crap games higher. So people could think along the lines of, if I go to forest for £30, ill get derby for £25, and because they're both crap games that means I'll get Blackburn for £15. Based on their total inability to record when, as a non-st holder (not me, family) you do go and also away matches there is no way they'd be able manage this.

With regard to attendences, I'm sure they count all season ticket holders and corporate seats whether they are there or not, a season ticket will register differently to a bought ticket so it wouldn't be difficult to separate them when 'concocting' figures
Kitchandro Posted 20 September 2012 Posted 20 September 2012 I agree the price of tickets is too high. Personally I think tickets in this division should cost £20 for adults, £15 for Under-22s, for all games, and I'd get rid of 'Fans' Fixtures'. They need to get rid of platinum fixtures too
1964FOX Posted 20 September 2012 Posted 20 September 2012 To explain the attendance figures there is a screen in the control room that displays all the sections of the ground. Each section has it's own total and you can see it going up as people come through the turnstiles. In the middle of the screen is the total amount, as you can imagine the total flies up at busy entrance periods. When the gates officially close the total is recorded and then the official total which includes those empty season ticket seats is given to Brad to announce. The difference is usually around 1500 but I have seen it close to 2500.

Over 30 quid sometimes for 90 minutes of football. Im sure you could get a prostitute for less and have more fun! The prices need to come down or as others have said, on games that are midweek etc, or part of 2 home games in 7 days where alot of people CANT afford to shell out for that, special ticketing prices need to come in. Got any numbers mate?

If I'd had my way there would of been a lot less than that in the second half as I think all the ****** that roundly booed at half time should have just fvcked off home. Lost the plot with a few round me and nearly went back to the 80s, it saddened me immensely.I've watched some dross over the years being a City fan loads of relegation seasons etc but just cannot understand the mentality of booing how does that ever help the team? I wonder what they'd have been like say travelling down to Exeter for a midweek FA Cup match to see us lose 3-0 when we all sang our hearts out for full 90 mins. Or Newcastle away their promotion party 1993 when they beat us 7-1 same great support from our fans Don't want to sound like a dinosoar but in the face of adversity we took pride in getting behind the lads then came MON glory years and some thick to go with the thin. Now we are in transition and supporting the team is vital at this time and ALL times IMO

Must have only been about 15-18k, the kop was the thinnest I've ever seen it. Obviously Burnley didn't bring many, which worsened the atmsophere further. It was one of those games where for long periods you could hear exactly what the players were shouting. It did pick up for a little spell after we went 2-1 up, but the nerves and booing resumed when we were under the kosh with about 10 minutes to go. Not having a go at anybody because I know how tight money is at the moment, but it really was a poor showing tonight. I noticed from reading back the match thread that a lot of 'main' posters weren't there either. Cmon Thais, don't let this happen again. If it looks like the turn out will be shit, do £10 a ticket or something. When the ground is so empty and quiet, it really isn't a good environment for our players to do well. Let's make up for it on Sunday!! £27 squiddlers i paid for my ticket to watch that utter drivel, wont be going again for a while due to shift work but also i want to wait until they bring the membership packages out
