Corky Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Couldn't fault him today. Put his foot in and led the breakaway for the clinching goal.
5waller5 Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 pffft ....... Not going to be popular for this opinion ..... But for me Waghorn looks completely lost. He came on today and chased the ball because that's ok - that's in his comfort zone ..... but my word did he hide when we were in possession - always looking to go far post, always looking to go wide and not making any lateral runs to receive the ball. He seemd like he was actually trying to be the other side of a defender the whole time. I watched him closer than ever today to make sure i wasn't being unfair on him. His confidence looks completely shot and he was hiding. Do the poor bloke a favour and loan him out.

5waller5 Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 Had you left before we got the third goal then? Wouldn't surprise me. No i hadn't. But it doesn't surprise me that you cannot understand what I'm talking about. I seen him, he's the worst hider ever. ..... you didn't have the ball - he wasn't hiding from you!!!
Alf Bentley Posted 23 September 2012 Posted 23 September 2012 When I saw the thread title, I assumed it was the marketing launch for a new range of designer label clothing and male fragrances exclusively created by Martyn Waghorn (while sitting on the bench) in association with members of S Club 7. I live in the modern world.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 Played well again yesterday. Came on and did exactly what was needed at the time, run and harrass the opposition when they had the ball. Fair play for his part in the 3rd too.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 He aint The Waggy of The loan era. No but hopefully given time
Raj Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 No but hopefully given time Hope so. But it does seem the case sometimes that loaness play well(no pressure on em) we sign em up and they are not what they seemed whilst on loan! Luckily he has yoof on his side and hopefully he can learn abit from Nugent whos been in the game for a while.
