Austin Posted 4 October 2012 Posted 4 October 2012 Does foxes player work on the iPad? It use to, now it doesnt seem to work anymore!
aussie-fox Posted 5 October 2012 Posted 5 October 2012 is there any way you could possibly start watching this without seeing the score before hand? as an aussie this would be great as i could "pretend" i'm watching it live without getting up at silly hours of the morning to listen to radio leicester
Zingari Posted 5 October 2012 Posted 5 October 2012 I can only seem to get the highlights on foxes player how do you get to see the whole match ? edit ; just looked again and i can see it now
davieG Posted 5 October 2012 Posted 5 October 2012 Well I can find it but it's asking for a user name and password, is it free then?
jmono84 Posted 5 October 2012 Posted 5 October 2012 If you have an iPhone you can download the 'football league' app which also has all the videos and full game etc... It costs £9.99 for a full seasons subscription which comes out from your apple account. It is titled as boro first half etc so doesn't show the score before you play it!

Guest Posted 5 October 2012 Posted 5 October 2012 With the NBA you can pay to watch games live or delayed. They are blacked out in the local market or if the game is on TV so they can't be watched live but otherwise you can watch any game any time. I find it unbelievable that the Prem and the FA have not got onto this money bandwagon yet.
Guest brownayy Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 If the game gets recorded and put on there after, what's the harm in streaming it live? I suppose if Sky or whoever are showing the game then it's not okay, but for any other game, if it's a subscription service then it should be fine.
Jakemoore Posted 6 October 2012 Posted 6 October 2012 Someone needs to sort out our website! It doesn't bloody work! We're finally playing good, entertaining football but we can't actually watch it! Waste of money....
wignalll2007 Posted 8 October 2012 Posted 8 October 2012 Just downloaded the football league app for my iPhone I must say I'm impressed. Just a couple of questions. 1. Does the football league app have all the same stuff as foxesplayer ? 2. If so does its content get updated at the same time or is it behind ? Thanks
aussie-fox Posted 9 October 2012 Posted 9 October 2012 no full match reply for the bristol game atm was too good to be true and expect all games to have the reply option
marbelladave Posted 9 October 2012 Posted 9 October 2012 no full match reply for the bristol game atm was too good to be true and expect all games to have the reply option I wonder if it is coincidence but the 2 games we have been able to see so far were away from the KP.......
indierich06 Posted 9 October 2012 Posted 9 October 2012 I wonder if it is coincidence but the 2 games we have been able to see so far were away from the KP....... I was about to post the same thing. It looks like the full game option is something Middlesborough and Huddersfield offer on every game - looks like our player has just nicked their full game coverage and put Stringer's commentary over the top.

Every game is filmed, if only from the one camera angle. Last season we got decent highlights, typically about 5-6 minutes. This season we are lucky to get anything beyond the goals. Most clubs sign up to the same deal as City, a website, (Foxes) Player feature and the like and all these clubs sites look pretty much the same, however it appears that some clubs 'give you more' than others....... The full match replay seems common with some clubs, extremely rare for City......

It just seems like ours are only interested in giving us the absolute bare minimum, whereas other clubs seem to be more interested in giving the fans a good deal. Like you say, every game is filmed - surely it would actually be easier just to put up the full match instead of editing a highlights package? Not sure exactly what the club's problem is.
foxile5 Posted 9 October 2012 Posted 9 October 2012 Just another reason I've completely sworn off of FoxesPlayer. Bleat on message boards all you like, they'll only respond to one thing....cancelled subscriptions. The service they provide is absolutely ****ing abysmal, but if we as fans keep paying for it where is their incentive to change? I live in S.E. Asia and, for every match I can, get my dad back home to put the radio next to the laptop and listen on Skype. If it's a home match sometimes I have to listen to 90 minutes of RL before the actual sports programme. It's a ballache and it's glitchy, but I do it because **** Foxes Player, that's why. If you want this to change make your money count and stop giving it to them.
