If you have the source to back it up, then it normally makes your point stronger and stops people accusing of lying (they normally don't read it, you could post a link to any old crap and they will just believe that it is true  )

This is the relevant quote from Mr Nagdi

Whilst not ruling out any decision or existing contracts that have

benefits for those paying the precept in the Leicestershire Police Area,

I state unequivocally that I remain to be convinced whether ‘out-

sourcing’ police functions to the private sector, or ‘privatisation’ can

ever be of benefit to policing.

I fail to see how this means he is intent on selling the police to the highest bidder.

Well at least now we know daggers and nick aren't the same person. The make a nice couple. I definitely wouldn't let them in my hotel, but still.

I thought it was a restaurant.

I will try and get a link to a recording of the hustings at De Mont the other night when they both admitted they would outsource

Come on now, McDonalds isn't really a hotel is it?

Plus I've put weight on since that photo and Dave has platforms now.

I did tell you at the time though to get out of the shot and not to keep bending down to try and suck me off.

You have to read all three to make an informed decision. Cannot go on name, politics or assumed ethnic status alone. Saying that, for me it will be 1 or 3 as they have experience within the community and have worked in Leicester. Those two seem to have experience with people from all walks of life, the other just a section. I cannot see him visiting a troubled community in New Parks or Highfields to listen or discuss concerns in those areas.

Incidentally the police have asked people not to vote as they want to remain independent and look after themselves, that really should be an option on the paper, but then that would be true democracy and that is not allowed.

The Police already have democratic control in the guise of of a committee of local councillors. The problem is nobody knows who they are so they are not accountable. Having a directly elected individual in control will mean that the police will have to respond to the concerns of the local population and not the political elite.

Whether or not people vote in these elections doesn't prove whether it's a good idea or not.

But they are all being fought by the political elite along party lines.

Meet the new boss...

Interesting poll results so far. In the first section there are more voting than not. In the second there are more not voting than voting for the three candidates.

Sorry ignore the above. I never counted the combined total to compare.

He's too fvcking stupid to find the ignore function...so my guess is that he knows shit about almost anything.

That's about the 15th time you've mentioned the ignore function in the last six hours, and about the nine hundredth time youve mentioned in the last three months. Let me lay it down for you davie. Referencing the ignore function and telling everyone how you have los of people on ignore does not, has never and will never make you look cool.

So no then.

Well I did once read a paragraph or two about it. The idea is utterly preposterous of course, so there was really no need to read on.
