Just really had a chance to get on so here's my opinion for what it's worth.

Schmeichel's error was sloppy and ultimately cost us. Should not have been fvcking around there, GET RID.

Whitbread and Morgan's partnership continues to flourish and they are looking like a complete force. Has Whitbread lost a header?

Konchesky was woeful. Terrible against Derby and I can guarantee you that if Schlupp played against Derby how Konchesky did then Schlupp would have been dropped. Konchesky just offers so little in comparison to Schlupp and it seems Dyer has no confidence in him either. Bring Schlupp back in, some pace, athleticism and a player who allows Dyer the freedom to play.

King and Drinkwater were physically bullied by Dawson who was a complete animal.

Nugent did absolutely nothing. Waghorn rarely involved.

Futacs was a major threat when he came on and caused no end of havoc and Vardy put himself about a bit too. Good impacts from both of them.

Against Millwall I'd go with:

Marshall Drinkwater King Dyer

Futacs Waghorn

I agree when teams set out to bully us and get in our faces, like Palace, Leeds and Barnsley we struggle.

We lack a leader in the midfield when the going gets tough, hopefully NP will address this!

I think consistency is key but we have improved on that front compared to the last two seasons! We have a number of young players who are still learning, Knockheart, Waghorn et al

I consider this team/squad to be very much a work in progress!

Not sure its a complete truth that we're bullied by teams. I think the last two seasons thats true and some are holding on to that when we dont steamroll a team we perhaps should.

Bolton, Sheff Wed and Middlesborough all tried the bully boy tactics and it didnt work. Yesterday (IMO) was just an example of where we are as a team. When we're on song, we're the best team in the division and nobody can match us, but when 2 or more players have a bit of an off day, we're still competitive, but very vunerable.

The midfield enforcer is just another example of the yearning of the O'Neill years. Same as when people talk about us needing someone nasty its the craving for a Walsh or Taggart and when needing creativity its wanting a Muzzy. Those days are gone. The midfield options we have at the moment in Knocky, Marshall, King, DD and Dyer is the most exciting we've had available to us since i've been watching us (1987) but only when they all play to their maximum.

As you say, work in progress but we are definitely not far off.

Errrr excuse me. You were pointing out that our inability to defend at the back was in part down to Morgans inability to "captain" the side and marshall the back 4. Which has clearly proven to be bull plop considering we have the best defence in the league.

I'm shocked you have forgotten this considering you also said the fact we were letting in so many goals was down to the lack of a DCM and not the fact that players like Peltier, Mills, Bamba were all over the shop the majority of the time.

At Millwall away you cannot play weak players they are a physical side and we will get beaten if we play the likes of King so James has to start for me, drop Dyer on the bench and play our best two wingers in Marshall and Knockaert, I would be inclined to start with Vardy alongside Nugent as well.

Massive contradiction! Waghorn is a lot stronger than Vardy. We have seen all too many times this season Vardy getting muscled off the ball. Waggy and Nugent should start up top, if not Futacs. Vardy needs to be used as a last 30 minutes when their big lads have tired.

Dispointed not to get 3 points against Barnsley especially looking at our fixtures coming up. This is what I'd play against Milwall. Park a bus and hit them on the break.

I don't know if it's of any relevance to this topic but look where Hartlepool are now with Steve Howard and co.! I suspect he might be injured rather than out of favour in that pitiful team at present but I don't think he'd be the answer in such games as on Saturday whereby we're champing at the bit to salvage something from the game - which I think we did in the end amd but for King's near miss right at the end, then we would've taken all three points...

With this I agree 100% when things go wrong we need some one to step up and sort it out, I feel this has been a issue for a season or two.

Can you image how Tagget would have react to that first goal ? At least Franks own goals had a touch of class about them dammed if I can remember his surname Sinclar maybe ?
