FoxyPV Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 Heading to a mate's house but have to be back before 12 as StepFoxy4 is babysitting.
goose2010 Posted 29 December 2012 Posted 29 December 2012 New York is on my bucket list as well, not even on new years eve, just a normal day. New York at new year is good but not amazing I thought its a bit of an anti climax when the ball drops, if I was to do it again I would book into a party at a bar or something, Times Square is crazy we got there 8 hours early and were still 4 or so blocks back from the front. Saying that the city it's self is the best I've ever seen, so much to do and see. When I go back it probably wouldn't be for new year.
Jackirius Posted 30 December 2012 Posted 30 December 2012 Watch your belongings me and my 3 friends got pick pocketed down there by a group of Bengali's Yep it can get a bit shady, been to 2 full moons since I've been here and just take a wallet with money in, heard off a few people which have had things nicked.
Saladin Posted 31 December 2012 Posted 31 December 2012 Where can you go to see fireworks in around Leicester?!
Jordan Posted 31 December 2012 Posted 31 December 2012 I am also celebrating New Year's in New York, although that's a lot less exciting in my case I'm going to a place on the Upper East Side with my brother and a few friends, $55 open bar from 9-1. There are a few other places nearby that could wind up going to as well. NYE is always a big night out because I'm a New Year's baby... That said, I've never done Times Square for it. I'd rather be indoors and partying that outside waiting for hours in the cold!
whitlock Posted 31 December 2012 Posted 31 December 2012 Just been at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai... What a firework set, unbelievable. Happy new year!
ithuriel Posted 31 December 2012 Posted 31 December 2012 Was feeling depressed so i decided to watch all through 'Lain' and drink some rum, nothing like mind melting stuff to take my mind off of reality

FoxesAreBlue Posted 1 January 2013 Posted 1 January 2013 Drove up to Mancherster after work to see my 3 week old cousin. Got to hold him for more than 5 mins this time, he's a right old wriggler! I even got to feed him, and when he promptly puked all over my shoulder afterwards I told him that in a few years time, when he's old enough to be thrown on the setee, I will remember this moment and have my revenge! A quiet one, but one of the best NYEs ever for me! Happy New Year!
