Maybe he left Sunderland and dropped down a division to get some football? And wouldn't have wanted to go from Premier League bench to Championship bench probably on a smaller wage. Combine that with knowing Bruce, already being on loan at Hull and us having shown absolutely no interest in him, probably why he's going to Hull.
