Is it possible to mute Wayne Riley?

I think he's alright (in small doses). The Sky lot are a strange bunch really.

Coulthards dour Scottish accent grinds my gears and McGinley just talks shit. Beemer, Docherty and Ewan are fine.

The best two for me are David Howell and Laura Davies.

I’m not enjoying the bits of this US Open I’ve seen.

It’s like watching me golf. Which is why it should be enjoyable to see these players eaten alive by the course. But it’s just not doing it for me.

Same for me, basically forcing to watch it. Course doesn't help as whilst it clearly extremely difficult, it just looks like a big grass field. Can't even admire the scenery as there isn't any.

Only Brooks left for me that realistically can win me some money from pre tournament bets.

I’m all for a challenging set up but it’s not been a great watch has it?

As a purist, I'm thoroughly enjoying watching the worlds best get kicked in the nads for once.

But Burns proved yesterday that there is a score out there if you put it in the right spots.

I'm not keen on the Oakmont revamp though and removing all the trees does make it look a bit bland (plus no water anywhere and having to cross over a motorway)

The US Open is the one week a year where you've just got to accept that everything is a bit extreme (green speed, slopes, rough length, par 3 length etc.)

I'll take this over someone like Bryson smashing drives in the general direction of the green without any jeopardy of being punished. And it's only the sea-views that save most British links courses from being as bland as Oakmont.

Would love to see Adam Scott win this (he won't though)

Big shot Bob hanging in there, fair play to him.

Hatton on a roll too ?

You put the mockers on him there mate, he's just doubled 15 :D

He's still in the top 10 though and certainly in the hunt.

I'd rather stick a rusty nail in my foreskin that support Hatton though. Blokes a complete tool IMO

A case of survival of the fittest I think.

Isn’t he a LIV golfer too ?

Yeah he’s part of Rahms legion 13 team.

I find it difficult to root for any LIV golfer never mind that petulant twat.

Rory in full on passive aggressive mode.
Never heard him speak like this before and rapidly going from being a fan favourite to becoming a smacked arse brat.

Really weird.

Apart from the turf, the topography, the bunkering, blind shots, the wind, the history etc. Yep pretty much the same really.

Great read by Scott on that putt.

Thought maybe someone could make a run, but it's just too tough here to string together a buncha birds and not have a disaster hole in between.

Burns has played very smart/conservative to keep the lead.
