Captain... Posted 30 January 2013 Posted 30 January 2013 Courtesy of MattP - "Left in the heart, right in the head". Sums it up for me. Most people are left leaning, only some realise that turning right is the only way to actually get somewhere, rather than nowhere. Then you get extremists. Then you get fakers like fif, Captain Shrapnel et al who pretend to be lefties as a cover up for their guilt. Not sure what you think I feel guilty about, or why I'm a fake something I don't claim to be. I try not to refer to myself as a lefty, but I have accepted I get lumped in with the lefties on here, I'm an opinionated git, but the left wing generally agrees with me not the other way round, I have never taken a left wing point of view because I want to be left wing.
Rincewind Posted 30 January 2013 Posted 30 January 2013 Didn't realise it was a test. Thought the question was just probing.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 It's a pointless and misleading way of thinking about politics.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 You Canadian bastard. Oh, and sonny-boy, I've lost a stone in 6 months and am closer to being underweight than fat. Fact check your insults next time, unless you want to be called stupid again. Sonny boy? Not the only one guilty of getting facts wrong am i?though you very strangely went missing on those threads.
1964FOX Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 That's how it starts, then before you know it... BAM! You're shacked up with him in a 5 day lock-in in a wooden cabin in Hawaii. Ooh Hawaii, when do I get my tickets. Five days should be enough to convert him into an LCFC ultra.

You are a Liberal. Gwaaerfgfhahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaaaaa!!!! lol I want this framed! 82% more extremist? You pansy - mine was 2%. Where's finners anyway? At the moment I'm all on my lonesome in the very far left. You've got Daggers for company. It's 6am and I'm rolling around in bed with my eyes half shut, I'll do it later, if it's as long winded as I imagine it is I can't be before work.
flowwolf Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 This is so simple, just ask yourself if you liked Margret Thatcher.
Rincewind Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 Not sure if it is right. Hard to answer some questions as I was in between agree and disagree depending on the situation. Your political compass Economic Left/Right: -5.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.31 Won't let me post the chart. How is it others have?
FoxyPV Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 You are a Trotskyist. 3 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 18 percent are more extremist than you.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 You are a Social Democrat. 12 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 45 percent are more extremist than you. Well fancy that
Steven Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 The Political Compass Economic Left/Right: 0.62 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.54
Steven Posted 31 January 2013 Posted 31 January 2013 http://www.politicaltest.net/ You are a neoliberal Democrat. 6 percent of the test participators are in the same category and 39 percent are more extremist than you.
BoneDog Posted 2 February 2013 Author Posted 2 February 2013 2% of the participants the same, 98% are more extremist. I'm very surprised by that, although I did answer 'neutral' a fair few times. Couldn't care less about many of the topics, that's why. In a couple of cases I didn't even understand the meaning of the question Should have got my dictionary out. On the whole, I'm more confused on the matter than I was when I first asked the question. I now have Trotskyists, Neoliberal Democrats, Bourgeois Patriots, Ordoliberals and tons of others to add to 'left' and 'right'. None of which I have a clue of their meaning.
BoneDog Posted 2 February 2013 Author Posted 2 February 2013 QUESTION! Which of the traits (out of the 14 on the graph), when they're on the extreme end of the scale, do you find the most irritating in people?
MooseBreath Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 QUESTION! Which of the traits (out of the 14 on the graph), when they're on the extreme end of the scale, do people find least appealing in a person? Communistic Fundamentalist And to a lesser extent Ecological Though perhaps 'appealing' is the wrong word. I'd still bang a chick who got a high communist score, provided she had nice curvature and plenty of flexibility.
BoneDog Posted 2 February 2013 Author Posted 2 February 2013 Yeah, appealing is the wrong word. The whole question seemed wrong as soon as I wrote it. The extreme anarchists irritate me quite a bit because of their desire to smash things up. So annoying The ones I've known might not be practicing anarchists though, it was probably a phase.
BoneDog Posted 2 February 2013 Author Posted 2 February 2013 I suppose it's a rubbish question really because I've never even met an extreme pacifist, capitalist or cosmopolitanist and so on. I thought it was a good question at the time of writing though
The Doctor Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Yeah, appealing is the wrong word. The whole question seemed wrong as soon as I wrote it. The extreme anarchists irritate me quite a bit because of their desire to smash things up. So annoying The ones I've known might not be practicing anarchists though, it was probably a phase. Can't say I've met any anarchists like that, and I work in an anarcho-communist pub. As for the question - fundamentalist & militaristic, definitely.
Rincewind Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 You mean anarchists like this fella? Think I'd go with fundamentalist and authoritarianism
BoneDog Posted 2 February 2013 Author Posted 2 February 2013 Can't say I've met any anarchists like that, and I work in an anarcho-communist pub. As for the question - fundamentalist & militaristic, definitely. They're the extreme anarchists, not the normal ones. Love smashing shit up. Some of the smasher upperers on protests might be police plants from what I've heard, but there are still some of them around who aren't working for the police. I've had convos with a few. Tried to get me on a McDonalds destroying campaign, but I said no ta got a master league to get back to.

But they are not real anarchists, they are smasher uppers, anarchism is about not having rules imposed on them, rather than smashing things. For me the most annoying would be nationalists and fundamentalists, and in politics reactionaries.
