Hugo Sanchez Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 Be interesting if wwe buy their video library and stick it in the wwe network. Most of their wrestlers will end up in Jeff Jarrett new promotion. TNA made all the mistake wcw did, even basically had all the same people Bischoff, Russo, Hogan and Nash. TNA biggest mistake is when they hired Bischoff and Hogan and went to compete monday nights. Hopefully Kurt Angle will be back if he can pass a medical.

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 TNA must have been going since 2003/03 surely
iamafox Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 TNA must have been going since 2003/03 surely 2002, as NWA:TNA.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 How long has TNA been going? Longer than I think it has been. Was jeff and jerry jarrett promotion backed by the carter family. I think 2002 it was then nwa tna. I use to watch bits of it on the wrestling channel. I never really got into it tbh but I know it did peak around 2005 2006ish. I liked having two massive wrestling promotions because it made both companies better. I think Jeff Jarrett Global wrestling will just pick up from where TNA left of. Interesting that Spike pulled out because of concerns over Vince Russo. How that man is still in any form of job in wrestling is a mystery to me. TNA haven't got the major talent they maybe once had and I doubt apart from Angle maybe, that wwe will hired aload of their talent because wwe aren't doing great business atm. If Vince were to buy TNA, I can't see him doing no invasion storyline or even a knowledging on tv that he's brought TNA. Probably just stick it on the WWE network. A shame that TNA what had huge potential at one stage has died like wcw did.
Wem ber lee Posted 28 July 2014 Posted 28 July 2014 Not sure if anyone else has seen it but bret the hitman hart is doing a Q and A at the king power on 8th November.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 29 July 2014 Posted 29 July 2014 It's true !!! Definitely going to that. Favourite of all time.
Grandad. Posted 29 July 2014 Posted 29 July 2014 Closing segment on Raw is Stephanie and Brie Bella? All time low.
Jimmy Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 network now launching here "by October" not sure whether it'll be the US model or the Canadian model which would involve a Sky Sports WWE channel and a SkyGo type on demand service
Hugo Sanchez Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 Scott Hall has spurned a ‘get well soon’ card for a child with terminal cancer. It’s the latest in a sting of incomprehensible incidents around Hall’s actions and attitude. Despite having made vast riches in the wrestling boom period, despite asking fans to pay for his own recent surgeries, Hall couldn’t even spare his signature for the sick child’s card. The Observer notes that this move will have infuriated Bill Goldberg, who already disliked Hall, and who was taking the cause of the child personally. The young boy is six year old Danny Nickerson. He lives in Boston and the Observer states that he may not have much time left. Several big name wrestlers were asked to sign a card for him at a Phoenix Autograph event. All of them obliged, including Ric Flair, Bill Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Bret Hart and Edge. Several more went as far to record a video message for Danny, including but not limited to Christy Hemme, Candice Michelle, Angelina Love, Lita, Sean Waltman, Maria Kanellis, Lisa Marie Varon, Taryn Terrell and Brooke Tessmacher.

This has all come from Bret 'The Bitterman' Hart.I'd like to understand the full story before reaching a conclusion about Hall's actions.
Ross-Kemp Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 Because there's a YouTube video of him doing it in an interview.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 August 2014 Posted 7 August 2014 Current thoughts on wwe then? liking Cena vs Brock and promo in Raw was very good. But generally think raw is slumping maybe through having Stephanie and Brie close the show. Best thing was Slater beating Rollins though!
Wem ber lee Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Not loving Raw at the minute. The Stephanie/Brie angle is just irritating. The light at the end of the tunnel is that post summerslam I can see roman reigns start to get a push for wrestlemania 31.
Jimmy Posted 8 August 2014 Posted 8 August 2014 Alberto Del Rio has been fired due to unprofessional conduct and an altercation with an employee
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Summerslam this Sunday looking forward to it. Predictions: Bray defeats Jericho Rusev defeats Swagger Aj defeats Paige Brie defeats Steph Rollins defeats Ambrose Miz defeats Ziggler Brock defeats Cena
Libertine Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Clearly Brock's gotta win. You can't end the streak and then not have him use it to put someone else over. The obvious plan is for him to win the title then face Reigns at WM31. Long time for a part time to hold it, but I'm interested to see how they work it.
Ross-Kemp Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 I'd have Brock win clean on Sunday. I'd then have him hold it until the Rumble where he looses it to Cena (the Rock interferes and costs Brock the strap which sets up them for 'Mania) Then I'd have the returning Daniel Bryan come in at number 30 and win setting up him vs Cena at 'Mania.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 August 2014 Posted 18 August 2014 Domination from Lesnar, never seen anything like that. So pleased Ziggler won the IC, and the ambrose/Rollins match was best of night i think.
ollielcfc Posted 18 August 2014 Posted 18 August 2014 Summerslam was a quality show and, IMO, the best PPV of the year so far. The Brie/Steph match pleasantly surprised and Nikki's heel turn was much needed. Great that they've trusted Ziggler with a title - Best for Business! Lesnar win was needed to keep the majority happy, although I worry about how often he'll be appearing on his part-time contract... Just a quality PPV, more of the same on Raw tonight and Smackdown Friday, as well as Night of Champions please
kingfox Posted 18 August 2014 Posted 18 August 2014 Most of the superstars I wanted to win won, so all in all was very good. In terms of quality Lesnar v Cena was quite poor, but watching Cena get absolutely annihilated was golden.
