He was injured last night but Jose has already dropped him this season and he isn't first choice even when fit.

Yeah he was dropped before he got injured I thought. Very odd.

He was dropped earlier in the season, but Mourinho was just about the only person who thought that was a good move anyway. But yeah as it has been said, he broke his hand/wrist a few weeks back, and despite being picked in the squad, probably wasn't fit enough last night.
