Harry - LCFC Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 Nope I said we'll make the play offs but not go up. 6th place wasn't what our owners wanted. He failed us last seasons.I told people in January after the Huddersfield away game in the cup, He should had been sacked then. What?! Really? You'd be sacking managers every month (no really, every month) if that's where you set your standards.

May I refer you to the following statement made by no other than... you: Because I know football better then most of you. Holloway taking us down. I told everyone months before. That he needed to be sack. We can make the PO if pearson goes.
MC Prussian Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 Why has this lame ass topic been bumped? Because Hugo Sanchez aka ashlcfc is having one of his usual "I told you so, even if I didn't really" hissy fits.
Master Fox Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 Who cares? What's the point having a new manager to come in and take over his team? We can't buy anyone so might as well keep him. Lower your expectations and the season won't feel so tedious.
Monsell1976 Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 He got us to the top of the table with only 17 games to go. The players deserve a massive amount of criticism for what I would say was complacency and a lack of concentration. Would you be saying the same thing if we were in the play-off final? Because had that penalty gone in that's where I feel we would have lost. The owners will be aware of the levels of spending of other clubs this season and realistically we aren't in with much of a shot of automatics. Have some faith in our managerWe have every shot of being there this season, admittedly one or two good signings would help, but this squad got into second for a while last season, and if we are managed right we have the quality to be challenging.I am not prepared to accept the scraps from the big boys, the team has had alot of investment pre and post Pearson return, we had had the consistency and not chopping and changing that alot on here have craved for, so with a team that have been together for a couple of seasons( majority of them), we should be strong, and be in and around the top 4
Corky Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 He should've been sacked after a cup draw with his team 2nd in the league? Yeah, that's normal.
