Brooksy Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Manchester United appoint former Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson as David Moyes' successor.
ceredigion Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Manchester United appoint former Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson as David Moyes' successor. Or even worse ''Leicester City appoint former Manchester United manager David Moyes as Nigel Pearson's successor''
The Year Of The Fox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 I remember seeing the original post at the time and agreeing but I didn't post much during that time as I was getting too mad at anti-Pearsonites.During that bad patch last season I think I avoided the main forum to the point where I made possibly a handful of posts in it in the space of 2/3months.Even as recently as the draws with Yeovil and Reading you won't find many of my posts. Im a bloody sore loser (though i know we drew) and seeing some of the absolute often knee jerk drivel spouted by some of the idiots who emerge on here to question the manager or individual players really really boils my blood.
pazzerfox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 If Nigel did get the push, I honestly can't think of a manager that I'd want to replace him.
theessexfox Posted 21 April 2014 Author Posted 21 April 2014 To clarify I didn't want Pearson out (except once immediately after Barnsley ) but this thread was aimed to be a light-hearted relief from all of the speculation
Brooksy Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Or even worse ''Leicester City appoint former Manchester United manager David Moyes as Nigel Pearson's successor'' I think I'd cry.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 I think I'd cry. If we got rid of him or didn't offer a new contract I'd seriously consider whether I wanted to renenw or not
Basingstoke Fox Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 Sorry but... It was spot on. I said all along through our bad patch that our best hope for success this season if we didn't make it last season was to stick with Pearson. Honestly though that would be obvious though. We had a very talented squad all along and they would come back from that awful run in form (though we didn't know that we'd have to experience one of the toughest moments in our history in May). To be fair, judging from the amount of rep points that post got, it's fair to say that there was a fair number of City fans who agreed entirely with that point. Which is encouraging.

Yeh but as usual mate its the idiots who shout the loudest
shade Posted 21 April 2014 Posted 21 April 2014 "overpaid young men cant get a grip of their arse, follow each other like lemmings off the cliff that is 'form', lack motivation and fighting spirit and cost decent manager his job" yes nigel, I'm not a flip flop!
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 When the ever reliable ( ) Bert on Twitter posts 'Bye Bye Pearson' then we'll know for sure it's a fact
nativefox Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Pearson sacked. Blinds Filbert the Fox on his way out of the door. Club states that the eye patch is just part of a pirate promotion.
