Manchester United appoint former Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson as David Moyes' successor.

Or even worse ''Leicester City appoint former Manchester United manager David Moyes as Nigel Pearson's successor''

I remember seeing the original post at the time and agreeing but I didn't post much during that time as I was getting too mad at anti-Pearsonites.

During that bad patch last season I think I avoided the main forum to the point where I made possibly a handful of posts in it in the space of 2/3months.

Even as recently as the draws with Yeovil and Reading you won't find many of my posts. Im a bloody sore loser (though i know we drew) and seeing some of the absolute often knee jerk drivel spouted by some of the idiots who emerge on here to question the manager or individual players really really boils my blood.

Sorry but...

It was spot on. I said all along through our bad patch that our best hope for success this season if we didn't make it last season was to stick with Pearson. Honestly though that would be obvious though. We had a very talented squad all along and they would come back from that awful run in form (though we didn't know that we'd have to experience one of the toughest moments in our history in May).

To be fair, judging from the amount of rep points that post got, it's fair to say that there was a fair number of City fans who agreed entirely with that point. Which is encouraging.
