Churchill Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 IF Pearson does go today or in the near future then this season feels a little like the 09/10 season here's why... During pre season we played Real Valladolid scoring a late winner to win 1-0, same with this season during pre season scoring a late winner to win 1-0 against Sunderland. In the 09/10 season like this season we started well and roamed around 1st 2nd and 3rd for a while before having a dip in form and dropping to 7th before jumping back in towards the end to finish with a play off spot. Again in the 09/10 season like this season we lost out due to a penalty by a frenchman and missed out on the chance of going to Wembley, also in that season Peterborough got relegated like they have this season and Holloway has reached the play off final again like back in 09/10. Now IF Pearson goes it would mean we have just witnessed the exact same scenario to what happened by in the 09/10 season, IF Poyet comes in that would also mean we would have lost Pearson to another foreign manager, lets just hope we don't have another season like the 10/11 one. Have a great summer.

Have a great summer. It's a bit of a stretch to say that we missed out on going to Wembley because of a penalty by a Frenchman against Cardiff. Even if he'd scored there's every chance Cardiff would have won that shootout. If you need someone to blame it should be Wayne Brown for his idiocy after the Boro game or the officials who made some awful mistakes in that second leg. Kermorgant was stupid, but we still probably weren't going to Wembley. Waggy had his penalty saved as well and I doubt Kermorgant's penalty affected Waghorn's too much.
MC Prussian Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Not looking forward to next season now. You poor, poor thing. Fancy a hanky?
Churchill Posted 17 May 2013 Author Posted 17 May 2013 I'm not blaming anyone I'm just stating what happened that season is pretty much the same as this season, scary really.

Churchill Posted 18 May 2013 Author Posted 18 May 2013 I get sick of these bloody threads all the time, I've heard it all before . . . . . Really? There's nothing negative or positive about it, I'm just stating how funny it is and how it's panned out. It's also very similar to the 09/10 season.
