Beliall Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 im not sure how good an idea it was to manage delta in serie c2 re the pentagon challenge. they are skint and very crap, i tried to sell some high earners, but they just signed new contracts with other teams so im stuck with them. i just couldnt bear to be witbank bloody spurs again. hopefully they'll sack me at some point and force me to find another job. before i get too attached like with berwick.

My right back Adam Smith won goal of the season with this absolute thumper during a 5-0 win away at Forest; Seems I've also won Manager of the Season and my young centre half came second in the Players Young Player Paid 13.5 million for him at the start of the season.
Len Finsbury Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Won the Championship with Leicester in the first season with very few signings (this was before the update that strengthened our players). We got taken over by Massimo Moratti of Inter fame, and was hoping for some real money to spend. Instead, although top of the league my job was in jeopardy because he favoured a Spanish manager. Managed to keep my job with promotion but was given a modest £10m to spend in the Premier. Despite this, managed an incredible 4th spot to qualify for the Champions League with a 6-1 win over Spurs (2nd) in the last game of the season. Hoping for more money to spend in the 3rd season and still only £10m again! So frustrating. When I've been promoted in previous saves, our current owners have always made plenty of money available. My current team for the third year is: Schmeichel, De Laet, Aaron Cresswell, Ashley Williams, Matthias Ginter (loan), Gareth Barry (free), Tom Huddlestone, Matty James, Arijal Ademi, Knockaert (fantastic as a false nine), Wood (Complete Forward-Attack ). Still got Drinkwater, Morgan, Moore, King, Hammond that still play regularly. I'm worried about this latest update though as my form dipped in the last ten games of last season after I installed it. Teams I were expected to beat were turning me over 1-0 and it was only the cushion that I had and the win against Spurs that prevented a 6th position. Let's see what season three brings.
BstarFox Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Just wondering if anyone can help. Im playing a network game with my mate and everything is going well but sometimes unexpectanly it crashes. The error is "Application error" and it only seems to occur on the network game it never happens when we are playing solo on our own saves. Thanks.

I decided that all the teams in the league are as crap as each other and went 3-4-3 diamond attack. Seems to be working. I switch to a 3-2DM-2-1-2 when we go 2-0 up. If we do that is. Hopefully it works.

Bounced back by beating Laval 2-0. It's not a flukey run either. Genuinely dominating most games with a 4-3-3 full of pace. Waild Mesloub is just a miracle on the pitch. He's won me about 6 games with 90th minute goals.
