Amazed at how this has gone but not confident of staying up - we'll inevitably not get a penny to spend, got a couple of frees coming in already though. What formation have you been using? thing is, before i even heard of the pentagon i used to start unemployed, or choose hinckley. i like playing a career. i never actually got deep into a game until i started the challenges though. i enjoy them. i think ive used nearly every possible formation, ive become quite good at selecting the right one for the players available, even making a 3-4-3 diamond work. im quite proud of a 4-4-1-1 i created that works for every team with a passing ability back at witbank again, post update its my best shot at a kick start on the challenge, this time i set my age to the lowest posible, giving me an extra 7 seasons to do it. although if i cant get going by the time 15 comes out, i can see the last few months repeating themselves.

That's fair enough, but is it maybe worth a change if you're struggling? I've tried to play more technical football on the past two FM's whereas on 11, it was pure pace abuse - and to be honest I'm getting the feeling based on this that pace is the way forward, every single one of my centre mids and attackers is very quick, except for Riviere. Just won the title without even playing. A 'bumper' crowd of 13k on the way Jesus.
Beliall Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 I know what you mean, had some success with attacking play, concede a few but scored 36 in 20 games with delta porto. What frustrates me the most is sorting out staff problems. Witbank have 5 other staff of 3 allowed for example.
Lamby Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Started a game with Burton, won the L2 playoffs in the first season and finished 2nd and promoted in L1 the next season. 2 promotions in 2 years, not bad at all.

He was a free agent and I was actually quite surprised by his stats. He's second choice right back and actually had a very good game as a winger. Is Valentin Lozano any good? I've just agreed to sign him on a free. Looks a very decent prospect.

Buzzell Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Well I've got to say so far that I've had a disastrous start to my first season in the PL with Leicester. Was rock bottom losing every game, but then after tweaking my formation and team, I've managed to win 3 on the bounce and a nice solid draw away at Arsenal putting me in 16th position. I've re-signed James and Moore which I'm really happy about but if I do go down I can see them, followed by a number of key players, leaving I so desperately need to stay up!

Dan Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Went on another phenomenal run at the end, won 8 and drew 1 of my last 9. My season actually reminded me a hell of a lot of Leicester this season. So many late goals and turnaround wins. The last day summed it up. Two very late goals to turn a loss into a victory.
