Since then it's been 'Untouchable' but still only about 80% full Highest I've ever noticed is Very Secure. Used to be so easy to get to Untouchable on previous FMs. Now they've made it too hard!

I think sucking up to the chairman has helped Every press conference I've always passionately said how he's great for the club and we have the club's interests at heart. And in private chat's I've always agreed with what he's said etc

Whenever I've asked for more money and they've refused, I 'leak to press', and tell the press 'I'm not happy with the decision but the chairman has decided then so be it' (or similar). Then it gets increased after my 'very public comments' . Sometimes I do praise them though!

Beliall Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 thats debatable. some say it affects the tactics and things, i found it impossible to get a job after the first update. im downloading it now, 276mb. thinking i might go straight to new game tbh

To be fair what Stan was saying about job security - how many managers have genuine 100% job security in real life? I'd wager zero.
Dan Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 I think they've nailed this personally. I'm so tempted to play with these and sack Le Havre off but I can't. Vardy's work rate is now what it should be. These are the improvements I noticed;

They've updated the right players in my opinion. Very impressed by it. Drinkwater & James could quite easily play for England on those stats. I also forgot to mention they've changed Mahrez' position so he's an AMR now rather than an AML like he is on my Le Havre game. I would of thought Vardys finishing would I been a tad better then that. Possibly a 13 at least. True to be fair. He seems to have really improved his finishing.
Beliall Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 i took a job a Bucheon 1995 , a club founded in, yup you guessed it, 2007. its been impossible in FM2014 to get a job in korea as a first pentagon job until this update. hopefully i can actually do it this time

NewburyFox Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 I've been threatened with the sack when leaking my lack of funds to the press, but then they weren't find of me anyway. On my Wrexham save I always get money when I leak it to the press, as I'm a club legend (it's on the information screen!) To whoever mentioned the own goals, mine's the same, seem to have had loads recently. Wrexham are into their third season in the PL, after avoiding relegation in the first two seasons. We resisted the temptation to sell star CB to Barcelona for £36m, two years after signing him from Palace for £3.1m. It was a ridiculous bargain at the time, not sure how I managed it. (Although as I type this, he's given away two penalties in the same game to throw away a two goal lead at Anfield, although we're now back in front!) We're currently 4th after 22 games of the season, Champions League is the aim I guess but just be happy with any form of Europe. New stadium is being built, "superb" training facilities and an ever improving youth academy. Things are rosy in the Wrexham garden. Just a quick note on a 14 year old (now 15) CB who I signed for £400k from some random Belgian club. He's going to be incredible.
