Dan Posted 2 October 2013 Author Posted 2 October 2013 At work at the minute so I'll have a proper look later but pretty sure I found one that was £23 return without a railcard, although it did leave about 8am. Think my next one on the train is QPR, or Brighton if we end up staying the weekend.

Problem though, there's no straight trains to and from Watford on saturday! (that's from Nuneaton, if travelling from Leicester i'd recommend changing at New Street)
SmithyFox12 Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 Anything decent for Ipswich, Brighton or Sheff Wednesday?
Dan Posted 7 November 2013 Author Posted 7 November 2013 Wednesday's normally decent although with it being midweek, it doesn't really do it any favours.

Leicester to Derby and Derby to Stoke. If you do a Leicester to Stoke you end up paying about double. With a railcard and split singles you can get a return for just over £12 I believe.
SmithyFox12 Posted 10 December 2013 Posted 10 December 2013 Just a warning for those that don't fancy a fairly long stroll through Stoke - Stoke train station is a 45 minute walk from the actual ground.
Narborough_fox Posted 10 December 2013 Posted 10 December 2013 Just a warning for those that don't fancy a fairly long stroll through Stoke - Stoke train station is a 45 minute walk from the actual ground. According to the Stoke site, there's a bus that goes from Glebe Street to the ground at regular intervals on matchdays.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 10 December 2013 Posted 10 December 2013 How much is Leicester to MH? 6 quid with a railcard.

Libertine Dream Posted 10 December 2013 Posted 10 December 2013 Living in Hinckley, I'm going Nuneaton to Stoke, two singles cost 3.95 each with a railcard. Normally get away with Hinckley to Nuneaton and could probably get away with Nuneaton to stoke as it's London Midland but I'm not sure if there's ticket barriers at Stoke so for 8 I may aswell make sure
