Solihullfox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 My thought are with friends and family who are probably struggling to come to terms with what has happened. Rest in peace Neil.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Very sad indeed. Always appears to be the good guys things like this happen to. RIP.

crisp monster Posted 17 September 2013 Author Posted 17 September 2013 Once again, many thanks for your kind thoughts and comments. I won't go on about it as I don't think Neil would have wanted that - although anyone who goes for pre match pint, raise a glass to him - he would certainly have appreciated that!!! The club are aware of what's happened and I'll keep them informed of the arrangements when the're made and I will try and make some gesture for him at the Barnsley game. I'll be up there in a couple of hours for the Blackburn game thinking about him lots. Here's to 3 points - come you blues!! LTID
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 RIP Neil. Thoughts go out to his family and friends.
desmo666 Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Such a sad post, makes you realise how lucky we all are and tonight will be giving it an extra loud shout in memory of Neil, never met him but from what i have read wished I had. RIP Neil.
1972 Fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 R.I.P. Neil Palmer. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. I'm sure from what has been said about him by his friend 'crisp monster' that he would have wanted 3 points for the Foxes tonight just the same as all the rest of us. Let's hope the boys can do it for him.
South fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 R.I.P neil and my thoughts go out to his family and friends.
Bedford Fox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Neil was such a great bloke, came to see my band play a few times and got me singing "When your smiling" through the mic. A absolute diamond that will be missed by all that knew him. R.I.P
cambridgefox Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 RIP.so so sad.Thoughts with friends and family.
Leicesterlad96 Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Hope Neil is proud of the boys tonight!
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 Perhaps Neil was playing no.12 tonight. Wherever he is, may he rest in peace.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 I'm sure Neil would have loved the match tonight, as well as being top of the league. Let's hope we'll still be saying the same in May; make him proud, boys.
Callabinho Posted 17 September 2013 Posted 17 September 2013 R.I.P - didn't know the chap but shall remember the name from here on in! Thoughts with his family and friends.
crisp monster Posted 18 September 2013 Author Posted 18 September 2013 Got someone to come to the game with me last minute ( City fan) but had to go up via the M1 rather than the A6 A14 way I normally do. It was the pits of a journey and we got into the ground a couple of minutes after kick off with no time for a beer. So I'll have to raise a glass to him at the Barnsley game - my timekeeping's always been shite :-) Good game and a good win - I'll have to see our penalty again - looked dodgy to me! Great to be top
Meltonfossefox Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 Very sorry to hear that, sounded like a top guy to me. Rip
