that big Nige has had a fall out with Matty James.

from what I've heard Nigel has grown a bit of an obsession with his radio mic and has been wearing it at the training ground. James had said he bet it he couldn't even transmit over the training pitch and to the back of the canteen. Nige looked a fool when shakey failed to receive him even at the corner flag.

Anyway, Nige had found that James ha replaced the batteries with some zinc chlorides from the reception tv remote and was not a happy man.

this morning he called everyone in with a fresh set of energiser lithiums and poor shakey was the other side of Old John by the time the signal failed.

Pearson didn't start James or bring him on tonight because of this. Make if it what you will...
