And we are in the top 2 how does this compare with other teams in previous seasons?

You can see the correlation more often than not the team that is in the top 2 after 15 games usually is come season end.

In last 4 years the side second after 15 games has finished outside the top two on all but one occasion. Just to balance it out a little.

But those sides weren't Leicester City!

We'll finish outside the top 6.

Positives for me:

-added resilience

-capable of grinding out results

-drinkwater

-moore

-Knockaert has improved

-some overpaid numpties off the books

-some added experience

-capable of different formations

-we're second and off to a superb start

-above QPR who have the best squad by a mile

Negatives:

-Nugent, does not look himself

-not putting games to bed early on

-lack of winger cover

For me I think we need to have a player capable of a number 10 role. With current squad I think both GTF and Knocks would be capable of this. I'd like to see us sign someone like Hoolahan though. I'd also like to see our strikers working as a partnership: if a cross is coming from the right then one of you go near post, one wait on the pen spot and let the left winger have the back stick. Don't think their positioning for crosses is intelligent enough. Most annoyingly we saw Nuge and Wood doing it brilliantly last January.

All in all I am very happy with where we are and feel more confident then I did at this time last season. There are some sleeping giants in this league though and we can't become complacent.
