That's true but he did make a big deal about "being 52 now" in his pre match interview. Although I think he might like the idea of keeping everyone on their toes.

Yeah he's said that ever since I started taking an interest in darts and he was "getting past 45" or "coming up to 50 soon" . He's still the best player in the world more often than not and until he stops winning 99% of his games through the year I doubt he'll quit.
