Wood and Vardy

Nugent is not Prem quality.

I've said it before, I don't think any of our squad are. If they were, clubs would have come in for them.

Do you believe any of them have the potential to improve and make it in the Premier?

Easily, wood will be in the premier league, vardy will deal with it due to his hard work and pace, nugent wont ever be premier league quality. Not that i dislike him, just a honest evaluation.

Vardy and Schlupp is the way forward. Schlupp's work rate similar to Nugent but his pace will terrorise defences alongside Vardy. Schlupp got a run in the side, back end of last season, scored 3 in 7, got a big winner vs Bolton and then he was dropped after one average performance at Palace. I suppose that's the way Pearson rolls when it comes to his favourites. Give Schlupp a run up top.

This... if Schlupp isnt going to be played at left back, then give him a run up top. I really rate the lad. It's about time he had some proper game time. HOWEVER, if we are going to play two pacy strikers, we must play a midfielder capable of unlocking defences.

Define prem quality, because Alex Bruce played in a team that beat Liverpool!!

Do we not usually then Col? Seeing as we are second highest scorers in the league and had more shots than anyone else.

Our assists have come mainly from Lloyd Dyer (winger?), Nugent and from goals the strikers have made for themselves. Eg Vardy chasing down lost causes. Drinky and King do not directly unlock defences no.

To be fair, Bruce junior had a blinder on the day didn't he.. lol

Lets see how many games he starts and where Hull finish in the table before we start claiming he's a premiership quality defender.

The point I'm trying to make, is you can't have a team full of Alex Bruce's in the prem, but promoted teams often get away with quite a few along side some better quality they bring in.

That's why I said define prem quality.

Schlupp isn't good enough to play either at left back or as a striker. When he comes on he hardly looks interested, he may turn into a half decent winger but that's about it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him at a lower end championship team or League one side within the next couple years tbh.
