I thought it was a correct yellow because both lunges was after they lost the ball and had a chance of winning it back rather than just a plain lunge to stop someone.

Those looking for a red for O'Neill I thought it was 50/50 for a red. It would have ruined the game as a spectacle if he did go off though. Where he just come round the side and toed the balll away?! Thought the ref had every occasion to screw us over today but didn't. Holding play up for a squirrel seemed ridiculas though.
Johnny Cash Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 He was nothing worse than the referees we normally get which pretty much sums up the standard of officiating in this league. Correct on pens but squirrel gate and some of his free kick decisions were suspect.

Letter of the law makes them reds though. Think O'neill left the ground a bit more than James, James was more of a stretch
