Especially when we have no idea whether this guy is championship material or not. didnt he play for the u21s yesterday against bolton (lost 4-0)and was absolutely dreadful like all other games hes had ? i dont think its anti pearson just after seeing him play he is basically shit ! with that in mind why did pearson sign such a poor player ? pearson's signed quality , signed shit , he is shit !

He could probably do with a loan, a Doncaster type team near the rele zone. Get him some championship experience.

Give him a ****in chance. Konchesky has been in fine form and Schluup turned out to be adequate cover. Thats why he hasnt played. Not because hes shit and has failed.
cityfanlee23 Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 Still time for the Lad, Miquel will be returning end of this season, Konchesky will be either sold or retiring at the end of the year I'd expect.. and when Bakayogo is on top form, he shows more promise at LB than schlupp.. I remember he did have a really really good game at one point, Looked like a real prospect then.. hope he gets another shot

Bakayogo will be released at the end of the season, or leave on a free - theres absolutely no need for him with Schlupp as pretty good cover and Taft coming up. Whitbread is out of contract and he's Derby's problem now - huge liability, and Liam Moore has proven just how good he is by knocking Zak straight out the first team. Wasilewski has been okay cover, but he's like Whitbread in being a liability in defence. He's been at fault for many of of the goals against us when he's on the pitch - released. Signed on a free for cheap with Konch looking to go, but wasteful signing by NP or TR, I say it was TR or scouts looking at stats.

FoxG2 Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 I regularly go to see the u21's, he usually plays so I seen quite a lot of him, IMO he's not up to standard for the championship. We we're lead to believe he had blistering pace when we signed him but he didn't seem that quick to me just average and his defensive qualities are poor.

But I agree, he's not good enough to break in to our team any time soon - especially if we'll be a prem club. Game time for a league 2 club is more experience and better for his development and future than Bakayogo being 27 and failing at making an impact in kids' reserve games.
