Portsmouth still owe Nugent £143k

If possible you'd think players would just have the decency to turn around and say forget it, it's not like they need the money, especially if they're at another club now.

In the new Secret Footballer book, the player (Dave Kitson) said that they were always saying they had no money until he threatened to spread some dirt on them...don't think Nuge will get it though

Why? They're entitled to what they are owed.

I don't have a problem with it. Portsmouth have been in administration three times so maybe this startling amount they have to pay former players will ensure they run their club frugrally and sensibly and not "chase the dream" whilst risking existence.

It's a shame it has to fall on the club rather than the manager and chairman who allowed such an obscene wage bill to be ran up on a club of that size.

Can't blame Nugent though, if that's what he signed for that's what he is owed.

If it was our club we'd probably think he was a willy puller for wanting to be paid. Feel sorry for Portsmouth fans although they can get to say they won the cup which is something we've never done.
