Soup Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Super Horns is a nice guy but an utter arse licker. Why should we not comment on support if you lot are calling us pathetic and giving it the big 'I am'? Leicester pop 300k - home games ? 26k I'd guess, away (from above) 1900 Watford pop 80k - home games 15,500 (mostly sold out these days apart from restricted view) away (from above) 1,200. Next? Yeah got 2 of them,1 in town and another at Fosse Park, don't like them personally why do you ask?
LMlcfc Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Your fans are shit and have shit so fa and are just shit and embarrassing so yeah that Your fans are shit and have shit so fa and are just shit and embarrassing so yeah that songs'
Webbo Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 You didn't sell out at Vicarage Road, which, given it's a really easy journey, is not that great. There will be around 1100 Watford on Saturday - we've had a lot of away games recently, piggy banks are a little empty. and £32 is a bit eye watering - only Ipswich and Leeds charge that much. Worth every penny for the football we're playing, you want to get in while you've still got the chance, we won't be playing you again for many years.
harrowhorn Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Your fans are shit and have shit so fa and are just shit and embarrassing so yeah that songs' Eloquent. Any relation to this guy:
Dan Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 To be fair, we've been horrendously unlucky with Birmingham, Sheff Wed, Barnsley etc all being on a Tuesday That, as well as Wigan possibly being on a Tuesday, Forest being a Wednesday (although that's sold out so it's irrelevant), QPR being on TV, Watford being on TV, Burnley being on TV (although we could still end up taking loads in the circumstances). I'd love to see how Forest/Derby's numbers compared to ours if they had all their big hitters scuppered by the fact they were midweek. I'd bet my life savings we're above Derby in May anyway. There's some potentially brilliant ones coming from us.
harrowhorn Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Yeah got 2 of them,1 in town and another at Fosse Park, don't like them personally why do you ask? Excellent riposte. well done you.

It's not as straight forward as Leicester having a population of 250-300k though. We have a huge rugby club on our doorstep, plus the city has a massive ethnic population who don't tend to follow Leicester.

harrowhorn Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Your fans are shit and have shit so fa and are just shit and embarrassing so yeah that songs' It gets better. You must be proud to have erudite and learned supporters such as this. One thing I don't think you'll find on WFC Forums is utter, utter moronic garbage like this.
Dan Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 I wouldn't bet against us being above Wednesday and maybe even Forest either I don't think we'll end up above Forest sadly. Wednesday is possible. I saw the one from two seasons ago and we were a mile ahead of both Forest & Derby. Strange what hype brings. It gets better. You must be proud to have erudite and learned supporters such as this. One thing I don't think you'll find on WFC Forums is utter, utter moronic garbage like this. I'd say that's the one thing I've found whenever I've read it.

Fair enough - but hopefully you can agree that we don't do too bad for a team from a small town with Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and QPR on our doorsteps.

Well that plainly isn't true. You might not agree with the opinions but we can read and write proper sentences.

If you want to be fair and pragmatic, let's acknowledge how much your away support rocketed last season and plummeted since you realised you wouldn't be a title challenger. And if we're talking population, we do have to compete with the country's biggest rugby union club and you're right next to the biggest city in the country
Soup Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Excellent riposte. well done you. Thanks,I thought so as well.I might bump in to you again one day on your forum,no hold on,my missis thinks I'm sad going on my own forum, she'd probably leave me for a tramp if I ever went on another.Thats not a joke that's true.
Dan Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Well that plainly isn't true. You might not agree with the opinions but we can read and write proper sentences. Nothing like a sweeping generalisation eh - don't take the high horse when you're just as bad on your place.
harrowhorn Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 No cuz all your morons are to busy on here or Twitter.Twitter only has morons on it which ever team they support. Who are the Watford morons on here who are 'to' busy to be on their own forum?

And if we're talking population, we do have to compete with the country's biggest rugby union club and you're right next to the biggest city in the country Our support is not falling away at all. 16k against Brighton on Sunday - just about every home game is sold out. I give you the Rugby club (although we had Saracens ground sharing for years) but as for London - do you think someone from Islington or Enfield is going to come out to see Watford? Another thing - a lot of Watford's population are second or third generation Londoners who moved out to the suburbs after the war - and a lot of families are therefore Arsenal, Tottenham or Chelsea etc.
FuriousFox46 Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Twitter only has morons on it which ever team they support. Who are the Watford morons on here who are 'to' busy to be on their own forum? *too.

The clue was when I said 'away support'. I don't rightly know, although I'd be very surprised if North London didn't have its fair share of Watford fans. Hertfordshire is bigger than Leicestershire by the way and given the fact, you only have Stevenage to compete with, there's no real surprise that your attendances are in excess of 16,000. Regardless, Watford's away support to my memory has always been fairly poor but at £32 a ticket, I wouldn't criticise you for not coming on Saturday.

FuriousFox46 Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 *see original post. Whoosh. Apologies, I'm surprised you didn't correct it though being the master of the English language that you are. Nah, I'll be there. Loadsamoney! Also, back to your question about whether people from North London would come and support Watford, have you forgotten that you are seemingly from Harrow... in North London? Whoosh.
dayday Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Over the last few seasons Forest and Leicester have average around the 2,000 mark,Derby on the other hand is around the 1200 mark not bad for a club that call its self a football city
