One Legged Beaver Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 He's been one of our players of the season but I think he needs to have a little spell out of the starting XI because he's been pretty ineffectual against the doubling up on him as of late.
shailen Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Yes lloyd wasnt brilliant today, but he still created numerous chances...Nugent header that he should have scored. I for one believe consistency is the key to success. And the same eleven who won us those last 9 games in a row should be given a few chances before they're dropped. And it's not like we played badly, second half at least, we had numerous chances to score. But the bottom line is we didn't lose
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Was I missing something? As far as I could see, our best chances still came from Dyer and the left side. Knocky today, for me, was very average. Dyer was doubled up and had very little space to work in. Doubling up means the opposition leave space elsewhere (one less man) which we couldn't exploit well enough.
Blanesta Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Dyer needs dropping to the bench!!.... Give Mahrez a run!! You love Mahrez don't you! Im afraid he is simply not good enough. Was 1/10 and the 1 was for turning up I don't like this singling players out, Dyer has been brilliant this season!
FrankieADZ Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 ffs, give the guy a break, he's played the best he has in an LCFC shirt this season. and so he had an off day today, so what....hes human....hes not a sodding machine. get a grip, Christ
StarFox Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Im afraid he is simply not good enough. I think you're a bit SIMPLE mate.
StanSP Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Take it easy. Not having a pop at Mahrez, just pointing out that dropping Dyer for him at the present time isnt justified. Sorry. Still riled from certain Watford personnel and the OP. The whole team did their best in trying to outdo and break down Watford and it's very annoying to see such criticism for someone who's been one of our top 3 players all season.
leicesterisme Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Haha go away you moron. A couple of poor games after a fantastic season he's had so far makes him not good enough?
MattGamble92 Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 If you actually watched the game he put two on a plate for nugent. Easily could have ended the game with 2 assists. There are a dyer haters similar to the Pearson haters who actually wait for him to have bad games. It really is ****ing sad
lavrentis Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Hard to play when you've been targeted by the opposition team.
LanguedocFox Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I watched the game on a video feed, and I thought Dyer tried his heart out. They had two men on him all the time, but when he got the ball in a bit of space - a couple of passes from Knocky for example - he was fantastic. To say he is not good enough is, quite frankly, gobsh!te.
pazzerfox Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Im afraid he is simply not good enough. Was 1/10 and the 1 was for turning up Please don't talk like a clown. Did you not see that they doubled up on him every time he got the ball? They saw him as a threat and nullified it.
