DMU literally giving away home tickets

It's about the only benefit of attending DMU

What is insulting is that the tickets have been £5 a game all season (every home game) and now they've increased to £6 a ticket! So annoying.

Third world problems, eh?

its great they are giving tickets away but to students? really? give them to loyal fans or kids go free etc. i know we already do this in the family stand but why not all around the ground? they are the future after all!

Yeah stop assisting people who have less money and less purchasing power than people in full-time work! Stop McDonalds Student Cheeseburgers too, I have to pay for mine! 100 people whose bank balances follow a "negative" symbol might become hooked on football and spend the money they earn from their post-grad career on Season Tickets and merch! 100 people might sit in the corner and enjoy themselves, I AM SO ANGRY ABOUT THIS.

I studied at DMU, they would sell them at the Spar shop in the campus centre around £5 I think (this was 3 seasons ago). When I went in and got some they didn't even ask me for student ID or any ID at all. I just walked straight up to the counter and ask for 2 tickets, no problemo.

So long as you look around 20 you can get them easily, pretty screwed if your bald, fat and old though.

I'm not bald, but very very grey, fat and old, am I screwed?

I go to DMU and they've asked for my student ID every time I've purchased a ticket through them this season (most games).

Went to get one for tomorrow night about an hour ago and they were completely sold out, so the demand is obviously there, fortunately it's only a tenner for me through the club as it's a fans fixture so I can't complain really.

My mrs is at dmu, a city fan and a previous season ticket holder until the kids came along, so it's not all out of towners and as above she says they've been strict on student id.

They were strict, but it's dependant upon who is working. The proper workers are strict but the students that are doing it as part time don't care (I've repeatedly been to get my two tickets, if you know what I mean ;))

Ha ha. So it's a sneaky peak round the door or slow walk by whistling to see who's selling them then.
