SOCCERROO FOX Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Went to see Melbourne Victory v Adelaide tonight....thanks for asking Victory won 4 -3. All though the game was a cracker and I'm stocked with the win the real reason for the thread was about what I saw in the toilets.....! What I saw in the toilets was a full kit willy puller but not any old fkw it was a city fkw who was wearing a '76 Linker city shirt and instead of shorts briefs! Turns out this bloke was on his bucks, the point of this thread I don't know myself but although there maybe not be many of us City fans outside of the UK but we are around and passionate enough to be a FKW on the other side of the world. FKW I got a glimpse of ya knob but I didn't get your name but respect for being a city fan in OZ on your bucks now let's hope we get 3 points tonight.
Leicester City Gentry Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 My Forest mate (red dog scum) lives on Stanley Street, Fitzroy. Unsurprisingly, he's a Melbourne Heart fan. LCFC represent. Keep it global.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 22 February 2014 Author Posted 22 February 2014 What's 'on his bucks' mean?. Stag do! Although I'm a city fan I'm the ffurthest thing from and Englishmen you will find.
purpleronnie Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Stag do! Although I'm a city fan I'm the ffurthest thing from and Englishmen you will find. Nevermind, something to aspire to.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Stag do! Although I'm a city fan I'm the ffurthest thing from and Englishmen you will find. Scotsman?

Keep it global. It is odd seeing City fans in Melbourne. Most people haven't even heard of Leicester. When we played Watford earlier in the season it was on TV, I was at my mates who has been a Man City fan for life but loves us cos of me. He was hosting a party with all his footy (aussie rules) where there and agreed to watch our game. All claimed to be big footy fans but when our game started they had no idea even asked me if our players were professional!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 22 February 2014 Author Posted 22 February 2014 Nevermind, something to aspire to. Come on Ronnie, you would love to be an Aussie! I do feel dirty having a British passport tho.......glad my mum came to Aus when she was 18 months old.
purpleronnie Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Come on Ronnie, you would love to be an Aussie! Calm down Bruce. I think its more likely that you wished I was an Aussie.
Leicester City Gentry Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 I get the sense that Aussies are trying to get behind football (soccer) because they've nothing else to do in the summer (if they don't like cricket). Some of the teams have very good chanting sections because of the European immigant contingents that support them - it's great to see. As for Aussie Rules - go Swannies!!! Bloody love the game.
Aus Fox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Any Melbourne Foxes up for a Melbourne based promotion party when we play QPR? 19/04/201409:15 EDTRound 43Sky Bet Championship Leicester v QPR. 9:15 kick off in the Dickens? try and spread the word amongst other Foxes down under, lets get the place rocking!
james23wcr Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Only four or so of us were at the Dickens last night. Good to get the win.
bmt Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I was at the dickens last night for the first time, unfortunately though I'm up in whitsundays for the qpr game.
james23wcr Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Need to get a few more down there I reckon. Last few end of season gatherings have all ended in heart-break. Going down against Stoke, Cardiff, etc.

I'm on a Winnery tour down the peninsula that day so no chance of making it. Sorry i missed the game on Saturday night, I ran out of steam after the Victory game after a Solid day on the Sauce and a Solid Friday doing the same. Watched it at home tho
chuck'em Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I should be able to make it for the QPR game. Not made it to watch a game there since the play off second leg so it will be nice to banish those memories with a celebration.
blue army 1988 Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I no youve said you support melbourne victory but how is emile heskey getting on at newcastle jets?
d-vo Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Saw Emile Heskey play yesterday for Newcastle vs Perth. He put in a few good runs, but he really looks like he couldn't give a rats. Spent most of the second half mouthing off at the ref. Didn't see any city shirts this time round. Last time he was here i spotted on or two. For the record Perth won their first in 10 games. Came from 1-0 down to score twice n 2 minutes. Both cracking goals.

I've gone plastic this season, will wait till they sack the manager and shift a couple of trouble makers on! Anyone going anywhere for the City games in Perth?
d-vo Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 i'm not a massive glory fan tbh. i will go, but i don't rush out the door. i was really surprised with the fan division at the ground. it was weird. my buddies were filling me in on what's been going on with the old n new fans. also the old fans starting chants over the top of the new fans. stupid shit really. the shed was a ghost town as well which was surprising. need to sort out a few things before next season no doubt. the city games? i think the casino would be the only major place - maybe somewhere like the moon n sixpence or the elephant - just depends what else is on.
MadKaw Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 After WSW losing to the Mariners on Saturday night it was good to watch the City V Burnley game on a stream afterwards to restore the faith. :-)
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 31 March 2014 Author Posted 31 March 2014 Our Game is on live at 5.20am on Setanta Saturday morning too lads.
