I dont know which one to go to so you lot will have to decide for me. I know football gets prority over women but does it get priority over you mates wedding? You decide!!!!!
EmLeee Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 Wedding - there will be other games - with any luck your mate will only get married once!
Leicester_Mad Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 I dont see how you could even contemplate football over wedding.
Head Honcho Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 Yer mate don't get married every week,so go to the wedding but tell him to be more thoughtful next time
King Kyle lcfc Posted 11 August 2005 Author Posted 11 August 2005 Getting married on a saturday not during pre-season how daft can he be.
City Fan Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 Defo wedding. Leicester v Sheff Wed is hardly a glamour fixture is it?
Leicester_Mad Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 Defo wedding. Leicester v Sheff Wed is hardly a glamour fixture is it? 154912[/snapback] It shouldnt matter if its Leicester Vs Chelsea - football will always be around your mates wedding is meant to be a once in a lifetime thing - football is a hobby having mates is life
Shum Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 I know we always say that people shouldn't get married in the football season, but if my mate was gettign married on the same day I would go to the wedding. Friends are far more important than football.
stez Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 which ever you don't goto, you can watch the highlights on video later
Little Nicky Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 Well you're not going to annoy Leicester City by missing a game are ya! But chances are your mate wouldn't feel the same way!
Thracian Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 I got married in midweek so I didn't miss any football and my wife demonstrated her everlasting common sense, because she didn't even dream of suggesting the wedding might be on a Saturday. She even told her mother "Don't be so silly" when she ventured a gentle suggestion that weekend might be better.
rossporterlc Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 this weekend though we have football, golf and cricket!

Katy Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 Tough choice that one, I doubt your mate would be too chuffed if you blew him out for the footy though. Im actually taking my dad to that game as a birthday present before he disappears to live in Spain
Hitesh Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 Although football is sometimes unmissable, im gonna have to say go to your mates wedding. there is always radio and SPN wiht jeff Stelling so you can keep track of the score! Your mate will appreciate it and just remind him what you have missed/sacrificed to be there!
C-man Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 C'mon mate, do the right thing and go to your mate's wedding. But make sure you have access to the score at all times
Nationwider Posted 11 August 2005 Posted 11 August 2005 The cheeky bugger only sent you an email invite? What happened to a nice handwritten card??? <_< He should have been smarter and got married on a Friday, like I am next week. I'd go to the wedding. Your mate will appreciate your support, and you can get trollied and pull his auntie.
SystonFox Posted 12 August 2005 Posted 12 August 2005 if it was my wedding, i would fock it and go the footy. im not getting married i dont believe in it. but a mates wedding? yeah i'd do that for him.
