Babylon Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 I like these Nugent threads... because he always goes on a little goal spurt afterwards to shut people up. 50p on Nuge scoring tomorrow.
XLM Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 He's not playing well, but I reckon if he bags tomorrow, just watch him go against Burnley on saturday.
JmorsonLCFC Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 why change the best winning team we've had in years?
Benji Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 And people get mardy when our players do the ssh celebration to our fans.
Corky Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Woods has been patient and not disruptive, certainly based on his last 2 performances i think we should leave him out v Yeovil and see if this gives him the required "kick up the bum" What about the previous three where he played really well? Schlupp has played well for a while, would you want him dropped for Konchesky on one below par game?
Callabinho Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Next time you go to a game (if you go of course) watch Nugent closely, and compare his role to last season. then think about how many goals he has scored this season...then think about your comment....then take your 'Woods' shirt back to the city store.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 This has to be a troll. I can't accept that somebody can misread the current mood of the forum to this extent, nor that somebody could say our top goal-scorer with most assists should be dropped. And I especially don't believe that anybody still calls Chris Wood Chris Woods. Has to be a wind-up.
David Lowe Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Great suggestion to drop Nugent - I think 5 or 6 others are completely off the boil and must be close to the axe. A draw at Blackburn is not acceptable after a good run of victories and somebody must carry the can. I am also concerned about whether Shakey will be able to motivate this lot whilst Pearson is away. This season is falling apart at the seams and I can only see one solution - get Wellens back.

GingerrrFox Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 ***** just a mongol. But to be fair if Nugent has a few more performances like Blackburn then I wouldn't be adverse to changing it up for a few games. Same could be said for a few others in the team as well though.
Silverdaz Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 He's not playing well, but I reckon if he bags tomorrow, just watch him go against Burnley on saturday. Of coure he will, he loves scoring against his old teams like Burnley

I still don't see how he's done anything to loose his regular place. He didn't have a 100% game on sat but same can be said for a number of players. I think it's partly because we've been afforded such a good run of results that people are getting nervous because we didn't absolutely rip a mid to upper mid table team away from home. It's crazy talk, Nugent will be fine. He'll score again tomorrow and suddenly will become the next best thing since sliced bread again.
stuartn27 Posted 24 March 2014 Author Posted 24 March 2014 He he.....
