Gaz was involved in those arguments but I don't think he's as bad as he's taking responsibility for. The fact is the first argument came from a conflict that you're always going to get up there in a modern ground in England - the ground 95% full of people who have no interest what so ever in contributing to the atmosphere and that's a hard fact. Gaz tries to gee people up and some simply don't want to know. That's modern English football for you. The cold reality. Ultimately we need to just focus on ourselves and hope that the numbers grow because no-one seems to take kindly to invites lol

I agree there's a lot of snobbery, ie the snipes at people who leave early and "aren't going to West Ham" (as was criticised by someone). It's totally unnecessary conflict and it completely contradicts the name of the group itself.

I have a good time up in SK1 and I intend to stay there for the foreseeable future, but if we turned this ground into what we wanted to it'd be as big an achievement as Leicester could ever achieve on the pitch. I think we're having enough trouble uniting 100 odd, let alone a whole stand.

It's a cultural issue. English grounds are just flat and are dictated by what happens on the pitch. I cannot see how that's going to change any time soon. Just got to take from it what you can.

Fvck me, sounds as if they're bickering like a load of women in SK1!

Pointless trying to generate an atmosphere down there, it'll never work and if it did the away fans would never hear it. Best to stick to L/K if you're a singer.

Here's a couple of my favourite images of the banner:

All credit to the guys who created the banner :). It's nice to have people publicly see that our entire fanbase isn't like that one moron who decided to hurl abuse at him during the Liverpool match.

it's the same in the KOP, we can hear the away fans but can't hear L1 very often. It's not all about being next to the away fans. Yes you get a bit more banter but union FS are singing constant which I very doubt L1 do as I use to be in there. Of course L1/K1 are the loudest blocks when they are at full blast but a lot of the time you just stand there in silence. Union FS have done wonders to the KOP. I much prefer being with them than in L1 now.

Let's get more people in for the Newcastle game and hopefully people realise. Also going down to the championship wouldn't be a bad thing for Union FS ;)

Sorry pal, but if you think there's a decent atmosphere in the kop then I think you're deluded.

Last season I nipped there for a couple of games when I was hungover and couldn't be arsed standing and chanting. It's abysmal just a handful of lads waving scarves singing that embarrassing woah woah song.

well firstly it only started properly this season. They only had a few trial games last season. I'm not saying the KOP is loud but what I am saying there is more singing in SK1 than there is in L1. Which for me I prefer, But yes L1 are louder when they get going. I don't get why people always bring the L1 vs SK1 thing up. We're both on the same side.

Also what is the woahwoah song?

C'mon make some noise Leicester Boys.........is beyond crap. And i sit and stand in p2.

Can't claim to be that keen on it either, especially when people are doing it to death like they were yesterday.

Very sensible post. All this "if you're all going..." shite needs nipping in the bud, same people singing it every week. If people think this section is about alienating people who don't/can't get to every game they're bang wrong.

Thought the atmosphere itself up there was reasonable most of the time yesterday and the banner seemed to get a good reaction.

Okay, so your saying you only want people to be singing if they sit next to the away fans. Nice one. Plus, you can't complain about the atmosphere in the KOP if you admitted you sat all game and never chanted..

Fair play there isn't constant singing in L block but not far off and the numbers singing are greater. But for me the main thing is singing at the away fans which you're only ever going to achieve from the East Stand.

It's that we love you song. Remember when the Thais gave out free scarves at Southampton that time and everyone started it and since then we've never managed to quite shake it. SK1 were singing it last season. There was also an embarrassing night game at Cardiff with free scarves where the taffs were having a field day taking the piss out of our fans.

Leave that kind of shit to the likes of Celtic and Palace imo.

Hardly ever sung now but fully agree with you on that.

Yes I can. If I've had a heavy night on it, we're 2 goals up to Charlton and I can't be arsed and want to go round the ground to a quieter seat and take it easy, then I will do.

Isn't that the one that L1 jumped on an sung to absolute death along with the rest of the ground a couple of seasons ago?

Love that photo from the OS, nice that they weren't shy of using a photo with the banner in the background! Also my flag looks bloody huge aha!  lol

Mate it's wider than my garage lol. I didn't realise just how big it was until I looked at it when I got home. Big thanks to yourself and Soup Nazi for getting these sorted!

If we get there early enough, we could get a good display up for the Spurs game.

The guy who every week sings 'if your all going...' Seems without knowing him a bit of a fool really. Yesterday calling people out over them not going to West Ham is just moronic.

Yeah so needless. Is he the same bloke who starts loyal supporters every five minutes? People go for a beer on 40 minutes and he cracks out the loyal supporters shite.

Yeah that's it, after that Saints game some tossers started it at the next home game (Middlesbrough I think) and it started up in L block for about 20 fvcking minutes.

A song sang by Palace Celtic Watford Brighton etc and basically any other shit fanbase. It's a disgrace!
