Guest MattP Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 A few years ago when on holiday in Spain I took some pictures from my hotel window of a football match which was next to the hotel. I showed the pictures to someone i had met and he said they were illegal as I had not asked their permission. The fact that it was a boys game never occurred to me as being any different to a normal game. It was a football match as far as I was concerned. He even said if I took photos of a crowd at a football match I needed permission. If I was a parent I would seek the deletion of the pictures on these grounds. I missed this, what the actual ****? Can you imagine what this looked like I have no idea if this is true but it could be the first time I've ever seen someone manage to troll themselves on a internet forum by accident. Have you ever been to Portugal?
Buce Posted 11 April 2014 Author Posted 11 April 2014 Since the offender can't be identified, in order to protect the child's identity, it seems likely he is a family member - perhaps even the father - which probably gives him some kind of say in the matter. Ridiculous.

indierich06 Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Child porn will all be legal in 50 years anyway. The deputy leader of the Labour party believes offenders shouldn't be prosecuted if they child hasn't be hurt from the pictures. Can only concur with what a couple have said, what a World we live in. Really? In a country where pediatricians get their windows smashed in because it sounds a bit noncy? I highly ****ing doubt it. As for papers like the Daily Mail slagging Harriet Harman off for supporting paedos - well, people in glass houses shouldn't be chucking stones about. The red tops in the UK are one of the worst offenders when it comes to the sexualisation of children.
Haydos Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Kinda sums up what's wrong with people to be honest . Because an image from 'MemeCenter' is the pinnacle of validity.

The red tops in the UK are one of the worst offenders when it comes to the sexualisation of children. Yeah I think it's possible. Certainly some sort of decriminalisation. As shocking as this sounds now, had you said sex 45 year old gays could be shagging 16 boys legally in the 1950's you would have been laughed at and derided, now it's here and not only tolerated but something to be proud of and paraded through the town centres of every major city once a year. I don't think we'll get to the point where you can legally have sex with a young child but I'm certain that in some sick twisted form of so called "tolerance" or "human rights" along the lines of how it stops them offending and we'll have relaxed laws regarding what people view over the internet etc. Go and read the last thread we had on here regarding this sort of thing, a small number of people were openly already arguing that sex with 13 year olds wasn't really a big deal as other countries do it. Glass houses?, personal opinion and I don't agree with what a lot of papers do but I also don't believe in any way shape or form the papers have ever done anything close to the limits of lobbying parliament to reduce the age of consent to 11 or legalising the viewing of child porn if the model "wasn't hurt in the act" - If you can provide that one has I'd like to see as I'll never buy the rag again. Just have a read of prominent "gay rights" campaigner Peter Tatchell who had no problem stating in an open letter to the Guardian he had friends who engaged in sex at the age of 9 that brought them "great joy" and that it's time people realised "not all sex with children is unwanted" This are the sort of people who actually have serious influence over policy. Because an image from 'MemeCenter' is the pinnacle of validity. I didn't notice that!

I am sure others on here may have taken photos on a beach and got other people in.

I am sure others on here may have taken photos on a beach and got other people in. Well yeah of course. What horny tennager didn't grab Dad's video camera around the pool or at the beach and try and sneakily get a few topless milfs in? Part of growing up. It was exciting and you had never seen the wonders of certain aspects of "European culture" before. It's a bit different to a 50 year old bloke hanging out his apartment window taking pictures of a load of men playing football.

Webbo Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Just smash it up and let him sue. what jury on earth would take his side?
Rincewind Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Depends on the jurors I suppose. If they were made up of FoxTalkers they would dismiss the case. There would be a lot of people that would be reluctant to take his side though if it was done by a jury.
Guest MattP Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 You have never taken or looked at pictures of men playing football? Never whilst hanging out of a window on holiday. Brilliant, a snide way of saying "I'm more intelligent than you" as I'll let the pervert keep his child porn. I'd be proud to be part of a jury that told a child molester where to go if he wanted to keep images of a child he abused.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Tis the Social Chapter. Labour signed up to it, now we must live with all it brings. All I can see is an awful lot of fat Human Rights lawyers getting even fatter..

I didn't notice that! Gay sex is between two consenting adults though - sex with children by its very nature never will be, it's on the same lines as sex with animals for me - it's not right, and it never will be. And yeah, I think it's sick when a 45 year old bloke is trying to cop off with a 16 year old, but I'd feel the same whether it was a boy or a girl. To be honest, I don't really like the idea of kids being sexually active at 16, but I realise you've got to be realisitc and provide an age of consent - at the end of the day, kids of that age (and younger) will always muck about with eachother. I think it's down to parents to make sure their children are making the right choices. If my son or daughter was hanging out with some creepy old bloke, I'd be putting a stop to it and I'd hope I'd raise them the right way so that they didn't get into that situation in the first place. As for indecent pictures of kids being made legal? No, not for me. At the minute, what constitutes an indecent image would surely involve trauma or abuse to the child in the picture or video in question. I can't see the day when parliament will consider and vote in favour of a bill which would decriminalise the depiction of child abuse. There will always be nutters like Tatchell - whose paedophilic views are severely damaging to the gay rights movement IMO - but that doesn't mean that society will suddenly lose the desire to protect it's children. As for his bizarre comments about what tribesmen in Africa get up to and the 'some of my best friends were abused and they loved it' schtick, well the less said about that nonsense the better. Allowing two blokes to get up to whatever they want to in the privacy of their own home is one thing - some people might find it unsavoury, but most right-minded people will concede that two adults should be free to do whatever they want sexually providing they're not hurting anyone. Would most right-minded people accept that images of child abuse should go unpunished? No, never IMO. I'm all for gay marriage, I'm all for equality in every facet of society, but this isn't a case of equality, it's completely different. It's protecting those who aren't old enough to make informed or sensible decisions themselves.
indierich06 Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 And as for the red tops, no there's none which are lobbying parliament to reduce the age of consent to 11 or legalising the viewing of child porn - but lets not make out Harman and her cronies didn't actively do that, or are still trying to do that, either. What they DID do was fail to end their affiliation with that disgusting group and handled it terribly when it came out in the news recently, no apology, no nothing. With the red tops, it's the constant insidious sexualisation of children which I find disgusting. You can find it in any of them - fawning over the children of celebrities like that dirty old uncle you avoid like the plague at every family reunion. The funniest example was when The Star published an article, absolutely outraged by Brasseye's 'Paedogeddon' special, juxtoposing it with an article about a young Charlotte Church's tits.

It's protecting those who aren't old enough to make informed or sensible decisions themselves. Well I hope you are right, fortunately I don't think I'll be here to see it but laws regarding sexuality only seem to be getting looser and I can only see that continuing. Tatchell isn't regarded as a nutter though, he's actually probably now along with Dame Ben Summerskill the most respected gay rights campaigner in the UK, if the BBC want someone on to speak about gay rights he's the first number in the book, he appears on Question Time once a year, despite these opinions he is still a popular public figure so society obviously doesn't detest him as much as some think it does. Totally agree on consenting adults, buts that not what happens anymore is it? 16 isn't an adult, 18 is. Who is to say that the age of consent won't be lowered to 14 and we'll still just describe it as "consenting adults" just like we do with todays laws even though they aren't? And as for the red tops, no there's none which are lobbying parliament to reduce the age of consent to 11 or legalising the viewing of child porn - but lets not make out Harman and her cronies didn't actively do that, or are still trying to do that, either. You can only laugh at that, what else do you expect from the Daily Star mind? If people read that sort of stuff they should expect what they get. I'd hope that was someone working inside the Star producing a bit of satire though Let's not beat around the bush regarding Harman, she deserves little if any defence, her name was signed on that paper that went to parliament asking for consideration on behalf of her organisation, she's a qualified barrister and I don't believe she would have done that without reading fully what she knew she was implying. She could have taken the chance to apologise like Hewitt did and clearly state that she does not hold the belief of what was written then instead of trying to brush it off as a smear campaign (although as with Miller this week, thats what MP's do now first and foremost)
