The Year Of The Fox Posted 11 April 2014 Share Posted 11 April 2014 Since when have the club made it a £1 booking fee per ticket rather than per transaction?? I could've sworn it used to be £1 regardless of how many tickets bought? (When I say 'used to' I mean this season) Yet you go online and buy them and they charge you £1 per ticket..? Any idea when it changed?

Fox92 Posted 11 April 2014 Share Posted 11 April 2014 Ever since they became "tinpot lcfc robbing cvnts" Yeah but you might end up spending the same amount on the phone... (Not that I agree with a booking fee, just saying).
davieG Posted 11 April 2014 Share Posted 11 April 2014 You should only have to pay any sort of fee if they are posting them, buying online should be easier and cheaper for them and certainly something they prefer hence why they keep encouraging its use despite it being totally inadequate. Larry_LCFC Posted 11 April 2014 Share Posted 11 April 2014 Really does annoy me. Why should you have to pay a booking fee to buy a ticket to a ticketed event. They charge enough as it is. £1 a ticket is a joke.
lavrentis Posted 11 April 2014 Share Posted 11 April 2014 Booking fee is the most obvious daylight robbery you will ever find. The system automatically sorts your ticket out, yet you are charged a fee for it?
Stadt Posted 11 April 2014 Share Posted 11 April 2014 They charge you for booking your own ticket, it's ridiculous.
Lobsterboyuk Posted 11 April 2014 Share Posted 11 April 2014 I cannot see how to select the option to collect the tickets anymore, on the previous lcfc site I would always select the "collect" option to save the £1 and get my priority booking without having to rush down to the ticket office. Neil_LCFC Posted 13 April 2014 Share Posted 13 April 2014 You are right it was £1 per order online before regardless of how many tickets you ordered. I have ordered Qpr and Doncaster tkts and been charged £1 per ticket for both netting the club an extra tenner off me alone. So it is a new little money making scam. Matt Posted 13 April 2014 Share Posted 13 April 2014 Well apparently the club do read this forum, maybe they'll take this on board and do something to help the fans! and pigs might fly.

NZ_Foxile Posted 15 April 2014 Share Posted 15 April 2014 I was charged a booking fee when I bought a ticket for Reading in person from the ticket office. Now that is daylight robbery!I did all the work, all they had to go was wander round the back to get the ticket...£1 fee for that?!

Put up the price of tickets by £1 and remove the booking fee? Same outcome, just doesn't wind people up the same way.
