LanguedocFox Posted 25 April 2014 Posted 25 April 2014 Our young goalkeeper has joined Cambridge United on an emergency loan to the end of the season, and might get a game in the playoffs: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27155519. Wouldn't that be a brilliant way to start off his playing career? Best of luck to the lad.
Stevosevic Posted 25 April 2014 Posted 25 April 2014 He wont make it here so all the best to him to try and make an impression at that level.
Fox92 Posted 25 April 2014 Posted 25 April 2014 Nice little club, Cambridge. Hope it goes well for him. Can't see him playing here, though.
Tuna Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Cambridge have won their playoff semi against Halifax, and Smith will be playing at Wembley. Just to confuse matters, Halifax also had an Adam Smith in their team, and a Chris Smith in defence!
Haydos Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Does he ever act like a bellend on twitter? Judging by the reactions I'd say not, seems to have kept a low profile,
Tuna Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Cambridge will be playing Gateshead in the final, managed by former Fox Gary Mills. I'm a big fan of Gary Mills, check out the job he has done at The Heed, incredible.
cambridgefox Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Adam Smith played and has a winners medal. He looked absolutely ecstatic when the final whistle went and rightly so.Being a Cambridge lad I'm also chuffed to bits that they are back in the league.its been a fantastic season for me also Pboro choked as a bonus.
