davieG Posted 2 May 2014 Share Posted 2 May 2014 Leicester City Football Club has today revealed its 2014/15 Season Ticket campaign, offering the best possible value and affordability to the Club’s most loyal supporters for the season ahead. Giving fans the chance to be part of the action at King Power Stadium, week-in, week-out, from just £365 for an Adult renewal, a Leicester City Season Ticket remains the most cost-effective way to be a member of the Blue Army. That’s our guarantee to our supporters. Quite simply, nobody will get a better deal on following the Foxes during the 2014/15 campaign. 2014/15 highlights include: • Maximum of 7,000 Season Tickets available to new applicants • Spread the cost over up to 10 months with our interest-free, admin-free Direct Debit scheme • Price freeze on all Under-12 Season Tickets • Continuation of Under-10s-go-free in the Family Stand* • Opt-in automated cup ticket scheme 2014/15 Season Tickets start from £365 for an Adult renewal, or £395 for a new Adult purchase, while the Club’s commitment to family football is reflected in a price freeze on all Under-12 rates and a continuation of our Under-10s-go-free Family Stand pledge*. While the pricing structure for the new season incorporates an average increase of three per cent in general admission areas**, the Club has managed this sensitively to ensure no current Season Ticket Holder faces an increase greater than £16 on their existing seat. 2014/15 Season Ticket sales will go on sale from Tuesday 6 May, with a maximum of 7,000 Season Tickets available to NEW APPLICANTS. Once these have sold out, no further new applications will be accepted for the 2014/15 season. Existing Season Ticket Holders will have exclusive access to their current seats until 6pm on Monday 2 June, with Season Tickets remaining on sale until 6pm on Monday 16 June. Susan Whelan, Leicester City’s Chief Executive Officer, said:“The core objectives of the 2014/15 Season Ticket campaign are consistent with those of recent years – to reward those fans that have been loyal to us, to make supporting Leicester City more accessible to everyone and to fill King Power Stadium on a regular basis. Those that have been with us during the current season will have experienced the impact this can have on the team’s performance and on our success as a Club. “Of course, these objectives have to be balanced with our ambition to establish Leicester City as a successful, sustainable, Premier League football club – something we have discussed at length during an extensive period of supporter consultation. We feel the pricing structure achieves that balance with due consideration for the needs of the greatest number of our fans. “Following a season where Adult prices were broadly frozen in 2013/14, we’re confident that those experiencing a marginal increase in 2014/15 will appreciate the value a Season Ticket has offered them over two seasons. We believe that we are competitively priced for a club of our standing and ambition during the new campaign.†2014/15 Season Ticket Holders are guaranteed to get the best financial deal over the course of the season, irrespective of occasional match ticket promotions. davieG Posted 7 May 2014 Author Share Posted 7 May 2014 Foxes fans were queuing around King Power Stadium on Wednesday as they raced to become one of 7,000 new applicants for 2014/15 Season Tickets. A maximum of 7,000 Season Tickets are available to new applicants, and with the prospect of Premier League football on Filbert Way for the first time in a decade, tickets were flying off the shelves in a frenzied first few days of sales. Less than 3,000 of these new Season Tickets now remain, and if the current sales trend continues, the 7,000 allocation is likely to be sold out sometime on Friday, so make sure you head down to the City Fanstore on Thursday to snap up your seat for the new season. The City Fanstore is open until 8pm on Thursday and the Sales Centre (0844 815 5000) until 7pm, in order to help ease the queues after two days of unprecedented demand from supporters eager to see their side in the top-flight. davieG Posted 9 June 2014 Author Share Posted 9 June 2014 Leicester City season tickets sale hit record levels By Leicester Mercury | Posted: June 09, 2014 THE BIG RUSH: Queues outside the King Power Stadium after season tickets went on sale early last month Comments (0)Leicester City have announced a record number of season ticket sales for the King Power Stadium. City have sold 22,000 season tickets for their return to the Premier League this season. This is the highest number since they moved from Filbert Street and a club record since the introduction of all-seater stadiums. Only a small proportion of the season tickets holders from last season, almost 15,000, have failed to renew. A total of 7,000 new season tickets, which were put on sale in May, were snapped up in just two-and-a-half days. Once away allocations and hospitality is taken into account, there could be as little as 3,000 tickets for sale on a match-by-match basis. This means City home games are expected to be a sell-out next season as the club take on the elite of English football for the first time in 10 years. City are considering the further release of a small number of additional season tickets and will make an announcement soon, should they take that option. The demand for season tickets from City fans has delighted commercial director Ian Flanagan. "The response from supporters has been incredible and we're enormously appreciative of the commitment made by over 22,000 of our fans to be part of our Premier League journey next season," he said. "The buzz around the city following our Championship-winning season has been huge and our supporters are clearly ready to carry that momentum into what will be a massive season. "We are currently completing a reconciliation process before deciding on our next steps, which we intend to communicate to supporters shortly," he added. Harry - LCFC Posted 9 June 2014 Share Posted 9 June 2014 Only 3000? How'd they work that out? Convinced now that if we establish ourselves in the Prem we should seriously consider a stadium expansion. Get the impression there'd have been many more STs sold had they not put a cap on them. Bert Posted 9 June 2014 Share Posted 9 June 2014 22,000 season tickets + 3,000 away tickets + Whatever hospitality tickets they do Seems about right. Even without hospitality there would only be 7,000 left. You lose a small amount of seating In segregation as well.

promised land Posted 9 June 2014 Share Posted 9 June 2014 Fair enough, didn't realise hospitality was that much. This will only increase in time as well if we do well. Hospitality is where clubs make serious money compared to us mere season ticket holders. You only have to look at the big clubs on match days laying on hundreds of tables in various suites, halls etc at their ground to see businesses like throwing money away to butter up future clients etc. The club are trying to build another rugby scrum frenzy up with the few ST they are planning on selling I see! Philly Fox Posted 20 June 2014 Share Posted 20 June 2014 Hi, New to the forum so apologies in advance if covered elswhere. How difficult will it be to obtain single match tickets? Looking to come over from the states for the November 1 match v. WBA. Is there a legitimate secondary ticket market for the resale of tickets by those who cannot attend? Any help appreciated! promised land Posted 20 June 2014 Share Posted 20 June 2014 No one knows yet how match by match tickets will be sold, the club will sell them I imagine as other seasons and not some outside ticket hub, keep looking on the OS when nearer the start of the season. It might be worth getting a membership to secure an earlier opportunity to buy a ticket, details won't be out for quite a while yet I'd say.
