Flags and banners in N block?

Recommended Posts

Posted

It's up to those in N Block to make them.

Unfortunately though you'll get the H/S brigade taking their standard stance (for example, piss off everyone and benefit no-one for the safety of no-one).

If you want to do it, do it! Don't rely on anyone else, that seems to be one of our collective problems as fans.

Spot on.

Waiting for the club to provide things like this is why we end up with clappers.

If we want quality banners then get making them yourselves.

Obviously there is, its just changed the name to it to 'P' like they have with the whole block and obviously not wait for the club to provide them im just seeing what people think of the idea, people are so mardy on here sometimes!!

What has that got to do with anything?

You think the OP hasn't looked at the Palace nobbers with their big flags and thought... yeah we should do that.

Why shouldn't he think that?

English football fans are so weird! we are the only guys in the whole world who don't have flags and banners and when someone mentions it they get called 'copy cats' for trying to copy a team in England that does have flags and banners!

Can't get my head round it.

Palace have flags? More like displays the OP didn't say that did he. Would look good in P/N Block next Season.

Or maybe he looked at the Kop at Anfield, a Man United away end or any other club and thought 'yeah, flags are part of football fan culture, we should do that'

I think any homemade flags are a bonus (if you can get them in the ground) and should be encouraged. What's the problem?

Displays, what the hells a display? Is that a new fancy word the gimps "ultras"  use, like pyro instead of smoke bomb.

Nobody said he shouldn't, he's free to think what he likes. Just as i'm free to think 5 blokes with flags looks lame, just like the Palace fans looks lame.

Well it's a good job people who think you same as you are in the minority throughout the world.

Have you done a world survey then?

5 blokes with flags in the family stand does not equal...

Well obviously, but those gimps Ultras had to start somewhere didn't they? Or do you think they all just magically appeared one game?

How this has even got onto a conversation regarding Ultras I have no idea. The guy asked whether there should be banners in a block - hardly the Fossa dei Leoni is it?

Well I'd imagine they didn't start it in the ****ing family stand for starters.

Yeah bringing flags and banners to games will turn the Family Stand into Curva Sud of the ****ing San Siro.

I could find numerous pictures online of kids with flags at games all over the world, but I get the feeling it would be like banging my head against a brick wall.

Why don't we just move the kop to the family stand ??? Be so good being next to the away fans like at filbert st. Can't believe it's never been mentioned before.
